Congratulations, Bill Green! We Love You!!!
What a beautiful farewell, Bill. I got so choked-up with your gracious announcement. Make no mistake, you will be sorely missed as a Full-Time host but, I’m sure I can speak for everyone here on the Forum, that we are so proud of your well-deserved promotion. You will be such an asset in this new role… the Master Teacher! We love you, Bill. And, yes, do pop in On-Air, from time-to-time, it will be such a treat!!!

I agree with you Sharon8l8.

Has anyone received this yet? I got mine yesterday and liked it with the first spray, but as the evening went on, it felt stronger and not as nice. I don’t think I’ll be keeping it.

The selling styles of the hosts was never more apparent than when they were with Michael. Amy was laid back and fun – Michael seemed to have the most fun with her – and he was given a chance to speak as much as he wanted. She was super respectful and they still sold a ton of product. Amy let Michael speak about 80% of the time and she sold product about 20% of the time.
Colleen was nice, but you could tell Michael seemed just a tad more reserved with her. Maybe it was the late hour, but he’s a musician and they are by nature of their profession, usually used to late nights. Colleen sold about 50% of the time, and let Michael speak the other half.
I didn’t see him with Bobbi. I imagine she was selling quite a bit and probably in between Amy and the other end of the spectrum…if she was at her best, it was probably Bobbi selling 60% and Michael speaking 40% (I’m guessing here).
Which leads me to Shannon. Sorry – I know a lot of you like her a lot (and I enjoy her during cooking and electronics) but she didn’t let Michael get a word in unless he was talking with callers – when he really took his time and shone! They obviously had a rapport but she spent 80% of the time selling and talking about how much SHE loved the fragrance, and let Michael speak about 20% of the time.
I am not a fan of his music – I mean I appreciate that he has a great voice and his speaking voice is very smooth and pleasant as well, but it’s not the style I would purchase – that said, the man is absolutely charming and hilarious! I hope he comes back to sell us ice from Antarctica soon!!!

? ? omg!!! he’s so cute! he’s on with shannon and they are funny! nice.
-
? don’t you mean amy’s “boob-lays” :cattongue::heart:
-
Amy’s boobs – omg!

I would not be sure at all that this is a promotion. Rather a demotion to be off the air. Younger is better? Two veteran show hosts gone within a few weeks? Sounds like HSN strategy.

Wow, it’s the end of an era! Thanks for posting FaireMaiden. I missed the announcement. Congratulations to you Bill, I’ve enjoyed watching you for many many years and will miss you very much.
-
Congratulations Bill! I will sure miss you, especially with Joan Boyce. There is only one Bill Green and no one can fill your shoes.
-
Congratulations .I will miss you but I’m so much more happy for your promotion! And it’s nice to know he will be on the air from time to time . Best wishes !
-
Certainly Bill’s charisma and professionalism on air will be truly missed! However, one must always be ready for new adventures and oppurtunities in life. Bill I wish much luck in your new role and hope you gain much success in your new endeavour. Good Luck!!! :smileyhappy:

Congrats Bill on your promotion!..You will be missed as the most informative, kind host in my book..You could sell me anything..Just love you to pieces!
If you are re-training show hosts..maybe you can train hosts and some vendors not to be rude to callers..and train them not to fill food boxes on cooking shows..Let the vendors speak ..they know their products..
Some can also use re-training on vocabulary..(you guys..I am not a guy and don’t want to be one:catsurprised:)..S-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g the truth..that the item will be gone in this presentation..and it’s there 5 days later.
Hopefully you will have some input on products..Men’s jewelry(the good stuff) ..would be nice..
Wishing you the best at everything you do..will be looking forward to see you on air sometimes.Hopefully you can pop-in to these forums,too..

? it’s very nice to see you back here! Many thanks for your post. Bill will surely be missed on air but imagine the impact he will have training and re-training the hosts and the guests. It’s a brilliant promotion and a much needed new position that was created for him. Kudos to HSN for their insight and to Bill who wouldn’t have accepted this promotion if he didn’t want it. I don’t have to say Good Luck to Bill because he doesn’t need it but I will say Good Luck to his pupils old and new!

Never pass up on opportunity. It can only be positive. Congratulations on your new position. I too will miss you but will consider it a blessing to see you occasionally.:womanhappy:

Bill, say it isn’t so! My husband and I absolutely adore you. I feel like I have no reason to watch HSN anymore. I went through a very dark period in my life and you were the only bright thing I had to look forward to. Thank you.:catsad: God Bless.
Always N Forever:heart:
