Aaron Berger (not a host but….)
Okay, is it just me or does Aaron get on anyone elses nerves??!! I know he’s not a host, but electronic expert….pulllease! He talks a mile a minute and thinks that if he acts all peppy, we’ll buy the product. Chris Scanlon was much better when she did the electronics. I was excited to see the new Flip video but when I heard Callie say his name, I immediately turned the channel. I’ll buy the product somewhere else. He’s just TOO painful to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As soon as I see Aaron, i change the channel as well. I get annoyed when the importance of the processor speed is ignored as well as the importance of the RAM. Ooh, what are the colors, what can Windows do?
Not nearly as important as tbe computer specs. -
Question on Viber how do you transfer to mobile device not all devices are the same for connections
Thank you
-
I like Aaron he is very professional and he does lets the show host talk:)
Peace and love:)
-
Oh I completely agree. Ugh.
-
Why am I responding to a thread that is 5 years old? Just realized this. 😉

Don’t watch him. Look up the product on other sites, check out the reviews, pricing then come back to HSN to make a decision.
-
Wow. That is pretty brutal, however very petty. I like Aaron. I find him very informative. Seems like a really nice guy who is very knowledgeable about the HSN products. Give him a break.
-
I LOVE Aaron. Everything I know about electronics over the years, I thank Aaron.

Blonde62, good question for Stephanie Duchaine! She’s answering tech questions on the Get your tech questions answered September 20 link today!

Aaron tells use the computers/product specs. He cannot change them or make them up…they are listed with the product information online. He provides information about the benefits associated with the computer. HP configures the computers…not Aaron. I have purchased electronics before based on the information that Aaron has provided…and I have never made a bad purchase or returned a device.
During the presentations…there is plenty of time for interested buyers to use the internet to gather information from other sources to assist with a buying decision. It is up to customer to glean the information needed to make a buying decision. We are often told to look around to determine if the deal is right for us.
Many computers come loaded it up software…it gives us the opportunity to use what we need instead of running out after we get the computer/device to start buying software/stuff. I want as many accessories as possible to come bundled because I want to be able to try new things without having to make additional purchases.
I am always cautious of people the write comments but, cannot properly spell.

An electronics expert? I think no. What is he talking about. I have been a computer expert for 40
Eat for 30 plus years. He just make statements that are techincay not true. I would never buy a pic form hsn or qvc. They load it up with useless accessories and products. Be cautious peopel -
Actually it must be you,or you like listening to the women host talking about their lives or worse their kids w/ photos(how unprofessional) meanwhile Aaron gives you all the info for the products he reviews in straight talk, and in the most professional acting presenter on hsn .
-
WOW.. I agree Aaron talks very fast and could be annoying. But if we put a dollar amount for each minute the product is aired, he sure squeezes a lot of information in a short time. I rather run trying to follow up with him instead of waiting on others describe a product in a slower pace. He is technical and seems to enjoy his job. If he were to slow down a bit his technical information I could probably enjoy the segment better instead of feeling I have taken a cup of concentrated caffeine. Maybe his speed could be slowed if they introduced callers as he would have to listen, stop, think, and response in layman terms and pitch…LOL.

In the past couple of years, I’ve purchased computers, tablets, cameras, etc. from HSN and other channel. Although I’ve been somewhat satified with my purchases, I’ve decided to Never again buy electronics from shopping channels/HSN. The presentations are intended to deceive. They intentionally tell the more positive or saleable aspects of items, with no mention of the Huge flaws. There is always a major or minor drawback that is purposefully not addressed.
Yes, Aaron has not been a good ‘expert’, but he has improved significantly in the last few months. I think the bigger problem lies with the company, and not just with him. Most of the presentation time is frivolously spent instead of revealing the details of the items. And the Price is seldom, if ever, a good deal. Also, the items are sometimes defective models. From now on, if I see an item I like, I’ll get the model number and then go to Wal-Mart and or Best Buy.

As one poster said- he says things that are inaccurate. All hosts and product vendors do wahtever they can to reach their numbers! They also skim over the lesser points of electronics. I find they’re often pushing something that is – or is about to be- obsolete. That – plus the crazy retail markups when they include inflated ‘tech support’ in the price breakdown – are the reasons I don’t buy electronics from shopping channels!.
