Why so much "NEGATIVITY ??" …………

I agree with others who have said that being able to hide on social media of all kinds allows people to be more mean and negative. We consumers have a very powerful tool in our arsenal whether here on HSN, or any company anywhere – online or brick and mortar. It is called a boycott, but really it is STOP BUYING. Instead of constant negativity toward HSN, consumers should just stop purchasing. Th bottom line/$$$ will get their attention quicker than mean and negative posts and statements. When there was a huge shipping fiasco last October, thousands of people wrote how awful it was and they were never shopping again on HSN. I wonder how many went through with that.

It is ok to be constructive toward a company and then stop with the negativity. As far as being mean toward others, it is awful and sadly it happens everywere.

I don’t know why people can’t just move on over a comment or question that they felt was ‘silly’

Since I came back this last time,for the most part,I have really enjoyed my time on the board.Just as in real life,I try to avoid  the few  that might make unkind posts or  think they own threads just because they start them…Otherwise I have found most to be helpful about playing the games and it truly has felt like a sweet community.I have found much support from other posters here.

I do hope more will answer questions about products and comment on them.I have bought so much just from other  buyers talking about items they love.

.I know this is off the subject ,so please forgive,but it would be nice if we could ask questions about products right on the product page,along with the rating of a product.I think it would be very helpful to others wanting to buy the item.

Negativity? Calling people fake posters. Constant arguing about what is posted. Someone always knows better than anyone else. One or two that think they run the forum. Here are just a few more reasons for the negativity. People are being told by all this that they are not welcome or wanted.

HSN had a really nice “live” chat feature on their app. Then it became really ugly, in time they removed it. Very sad because so many had such a great time chatting and sharing. I can see this happening with the “Community” forum too.??

Many are women attacking other women, and sad thing is that these people are mostly adults, even the trolls.  It says more about them as people and they have probably always been this way, but behind a screen they can say and do whatever they want without any consequences.  I doubt they would say many of these things to someone’s faces.  I find teenagers and young adults far nicer, more tolerant and less mean.  I am around quite a lot of teens and they are all lovely young people.

I have let my husband and teen children read some of the comments on here and my teens say that is just being a bully, and my husband says in his experience some women are just predatory and nasty.  I would have to agree with him because I have seen it throughout my working life.  However, there are many wonderful women out there they are far too productive and busy to be joining forums.

Very true and sadly its this way,and even worse in many places now.I think people are just so miserable within them self that it somehow makes them feel better to belittle others for some strange reason..Many people are just plain mean and they show their real self when they can hide behind a keyboard….I don’t fit in this world very well anymore and find myself staying more and more isolated.The worst part is its not looking as if its going to get better.

You can thank human nature and the freedom to “hide” behind user names. Constant complaining about coupons, lack of sales, product, arguing about smiles, who says what. All of that feeds into the negativity of the community. And all it accomplishes in the long run, is the loss of many, many terrific people that are no longer here. And have made it clear, they will not be back. Including several other men.
