What grinds my gears
When a member of the forum speaks out for a companies interests.

Certain other threads have proved Sybil has rats in the attic.

I hate it when a designer or vendor lies in order to sell a product. Liz Lange just said that caftans are the biggest trend this season. That isn’t true! I haven’t seen any this year until her presentation. No other networks sell them, nor are they in any stores. She can’t fabricate a fashion style just so she can sell her ugly outdated frocks.
The big trend this year is anything that has crochet work. Someone needs to inform Liz.
Also, I’ve been very disappointed with the quality of Hsn items. They either don’t work, or they are cheaply made and fall apart. I haven’t ordered anything for a really long time from Hsn for that reason. It was four years ago when I last ordered an Hsn item. It was an Antthony maxi dress. In addition to the unfinished hem, it looked like something Mrs Roper would have worn. I threw it into an unknown area of my dresser drawer and didn’t see it until the other day, three to four years later. I finally chopped it in half and sewed it into a blouse. The, now, blouse looks cute, but it was a lot to do for one item. There are too many fabulous online stores. I don’t want to be bothered with a network that sells overpriced subpar products.

There used to be thread after thread, condemning Kathy W. for whatever reason. Now everyone is boo-hooing because she is leaving. What’s that all about??

Sorry folks..plz don’t get mad
but,Congratulations…thread after thread..argh!:smileyfrustrated:

I am irritable today. The fish smell is not going away. It is getting worse. Fake as all get out. Public announcements and pretend questions. God help me. So undeserving of title.

Threads that belong in TAY….by the time a poster is promoted to Maven or Pro, he/she should be extremely knowledgeable of the Community Guidelines. New posters learn from what they see!
-
Another way to rank up is by how many threads you start.
Do I see the start of that now?
-
In additon to being able to post pictures without having to have them approved (they can still be removed if necessary) the only advantage I see to rank is it makes a poster LOOK important, like they.ve been here a long time, or like they have inside knowledge of HSN, or more knowledge of the forum and games.
I also have been here longer than some with higher rank but rank REALLY means nothing to me.
I try to post on threads that mean something to me, for me, or if a poster needs help.
Some posters do have more knowledge of the forum and games but many of us do not.
In fact I found something new last night. Go to “tags”, “all tags”, and there is a “tag board” which is who has made the most tags.
I thought tags were supposed to be something important for others to find, like game tips etc. But I saw a lot of “names” of posters, players. I guess they are tagging their names and posts ROFL.
HEY MODS, could you “clean out” the tags so it would be easier to find IMPORTANT tags! Or maybe that is called maintenance!

, the ranking system is an automatic system that will level you up based on time as a Community member and amount of posts. We don’t have a way to filter each post as to whether or not it will count towards a ranking based on the contents of the post. -
Ignore. Moved to correct reply box.

Poster(s) that go from Admirer to Maven in 31 days posting over 3,700 one to three word posts. There are many established posters who have not been promoted in over a year and a half.

When a host won’t pronounce the “T” in some words. Like coTTon. Or buTTon. She can clearly pronounce it but just will not when saying cotton or button.
-
I’m not a fan of Brett, but I’ve noticed there are all kinds of unflattering comments posted about him. Yet when someone posts something “negative” about Shannon, it gets removed. Is she some kind of special brat or something? We’re not allowed to say anything about her?
-
I can’t stand it when a host, who speaks for a living, doesn’t have a good enough command of the language to adequately describe or explain a product, but instead over peppers the description with bunches of “literally” and “basically.”

Thread OP’s who invite everyone to participate but don’t seem to really mean it. Hemingway’s quote about trust comes to mind.
