What grinds my gears

INCONSISTENT MODERATING & SELECTIVE DISCRIMINATION

It grinds met gears when people lump other people into groups, saying “all of this kind of person is like that” or “this kind of person is like this.” It just is not so. We are all individually different with good and bad points to us. The best we can do is hope that our good points far outweigh the bad and try to focus on those things instead of trying to force out bad that just might not be there. I truly do not hate anyone and it is doubtful that the majority of us do. At least that is my hope. And yes, I guess I am a Pollyanna or Goodie Twoshoes and I am proud of it. I love that we can talk here without a lot of judgment and hate speech. That is just not my thing.

I just thought OMG…ridiculous!

I am so tired of people who complain about the hosts and the vendors here.  This host looks like this, this host sounds like this, this one, this one, this one.  Why is any of this important to HSN selling goods?  I’m sick of the lame excuse that because this is a television shopping chanel, that everyone must look a certain way, behave a certain way, and sell certain products.

If a vendor doesn’t sell something “for me” I’m o.k. with it.  I don’t feel left out.  The petulant whinning and constant complaing about the hosts and vendors is sickening.  Some people don’t know how to shop from home ~ then don’t.  It’s a good thing these hosts and vendors still have jobs despite the constant bemoaning and groaning that takes place on these forums.

Some people are just never pleased with anything.

…..driving down a local road, and some jerk in a huge truck comes up behind me just about against my back bumper to force me to drive faster.  I pulled over to let him go in front of me; then, I proceeded behind.  A few minutes later, I got pulled over by a cop and issued a speeding ticket!!  UUUGH!!!!

Going to the Doctor for a check-up, and the nurse taking my blood pressure starts frowning and making faces while listening, and says she can’t hear the pulse, proceeds to try again 4x– (meanwhile says it “sounds” high” –Well I thought she couldn’t hear it ?)  I’m now all panicked thinking there’s something seriously wrong with me.  I then said  to her “well if it wasn’t high before – it sure is now. That grinds my gears…

….people who sign on with different usernames only to ask the same stupid questions over and over agian.

It is both funny and annoying when clueless ppl jump on this thread and add their 2 cents when they don’t even know what ppl r really talking about in the 1st place.

  People who think it’s ok to cyber cheat on their spouses!   NOT OK!

When people that were permanently banned from the forums for improper actions come back with different id’s to continue to harass nice people.

CarlosSW I don’t see anything wrong with speaking out for a companies interest if its a good company and they try to treat customers well.We need to remember there are bad and dishonest customers at times also.I get very annoyed when I see a customer being dishonest,for example on another site I shop there was a lady complaining regarding a mirror that was suppose to be cracked on a vanity..She wanted basically to keep it for free and the company ask her to please send a photo showing the damage and they would give her an adjustment or replace it.I see no problem with that request but she went on a tangent saying they were accusing her of telling a lie,bla,bla,bla,leaving bad reviews like a nutcase on the loose..Why would anyone assume a company should just give you a piece of furniture because “SHE” says it was damaged but won’t send proof.

This forum does. It’s mean spirited. I’m outta here.
