Samantha Brown Luggage set is garbage.
This story is about poor customer service from HSN and poor quality products from China.
I in no way blame the supervisor nor the chat rep that I spoke with today.
I purchased a set of Samantha Brown green luggage set last summer.
I have used it approximately 12 times. When traveling, the storage of this luggage set has been inside my car. It has never been used in an airport, bus station, or train. In other words, there has been no rough handling.
When I first got this set, my gut told me to send it back. It has uneven stitching, loose threads, and the buttons have a tarnished look. It is always a hassle to return a product to HSN. So, I told myself it would be okay.
A side seam has come unstitched, and approximately 1 inch of the side by the zipper sticks out.
I contacted HSN and was told that not all Samantha Brown luggage has a 5 year warranty. This is a set that does not have a warranty. I should now that. Excuse me HSN, I do not work for HSN. So, I am not familair with your policies and warranties. Post clearly, "This product has no warranty" on the page where the product is purchased. I was told there is nothing HSN can do. Really? If I had bought this at the store that starts with a K and ends with an S, they would make this right.
Samantha Brown can stop bragging about how other luggage sets fall apart and how her products are quality.
Beware Samantha Brown potential customer.
