DG2 the jeans you can literally walk out of!
In my Sofia Petrollo voice (Golden Girls) Picture this, first day out without the air cast and wearing my new DG2 skinny jeans. Ordered a size smaller, with shoulder bag and off I went to the Amish market and purchased too much, which required a box. WELL, started walking out the building and felt my jeans moving down and tried the tug at the waist, now long story short had to drop the box as they moved below my jacket to catch the ^&** jeans before they hit the floor! Well, I ended up asking one of the gentlemen to please carry the box to the car for me while I held up my pants. I’ve come to the conclusion the incorporation of all that stretch means you better wear a belt, NOT, otherwise the darn things just expand as you move. Can’t get these returned fast enough, no more stretch for me. Oh the humiliation of it all. LOL

Hello Affairsofastrid, I have noticed that I have lost some inches and according to the presentation that the DG2’s will give a little and go back to the smaller size. I have found that my pair will stretch but not go back. They are comfortable but they do seem to get bigger. LOL Now I have a testimonial for Yummies, I have had my yummies leggings for a couple of years and they fit perfect. Love them.

This is all so…true! I used to work in a library, and even though it wasn’t a large building, by the time I walked from the children’s section back to the reference desk, I had tugged at my DG2 jeans several times to keep them where they should be. It was even worse after shelving books, which required a lot of stooping and reaching. Too much stretching and bagging!

Hello again! has a real good idea there. You couldd start a thread under Fashion and Jewelry and call it “Picture This”. People could post about those wardrobe malfuctions we all know too well but can’t help but to laugh at!

You know how Diane stands there and keeps stretching a pair of jeans in her hands?
I think you might have gotten THAT pair!

I thoroughly enjoyed your adventure with DG jeans. Thanks for posting and your post brought out some great comments by others.
You mentioned not being to see ‘Community’ in the drop down box. That is not an option –only the subheadings of the Community are there. If you look at the left side of the Community Forums page (the one where the titles of threads are located), you will see where it says Browse Conversations. That same list of the various choices (starting with the 4th one down-Today’s Special and Coupons) should have shown up in the drop down box for “Choose a Board” that appears when you start a thread. You could have chosen Fashion and Jewelry.
Hope this helps you post your future topics where you want them.

Yep, they will fall down when you stand up! I gave up on her jeans for this reason. Plus, the chemical smell is so horrible and never washes out. Her jeans are just a big no-no for me.

I just got my skinny jeans today. Tried them on and yeah, I should have ordered the 12 instead of the 14. I need to lose a little weight and if these are loose now they’ll be even looser. I don’t like the idea of trying to shrink these like a reviewer said because they might get funky when the heat reacts with the spandex plus the embroidery won’t stretch so it would look puckered. I guess I’ll order the size 12 and see if it’s do-able. I’ve had a lot of DG2 jeans but never had them fall off, LOL !!:womansurprised:

Yes-wear a belt with DG2 jeans! I learned that the hard way-although not as hard of a lesson as the OP had! I have purchased several pairs over the years and none lately because it seemed something had changed-maybe she added more stretch-but the longer the day was the more baggier they would get, especially around the waist and my knees and then they would start to fit weird in my pelvic area.
I also got tired of trying to figure out what size I should order. I am a 10, sometimes a 12 depending on style but I would get a size 6 in her jeans and let me tell you-there is no way I am a size 6 in anything else! I know women’s clothing sizes are all over the place but hers is really way off the mark.

Thanks so much for that info, was thinking about getting one of those jeans.

Happy New Year Lady – They just have hard to find old-fashion food products. Love their meat department is to live for. Haven’t been there since I broke my ankle in October, so I went crazy shopping, hence needing the box. Baked goods are made on sight, blah, blah, blah.
I live in Dover, DE and there is another market in Wilmington, DE. I just love freshly made hot soft prezels dipped in butter for instance, glad I wasn’t trying to eat one at the time. I’ve loss (2) dress sizes since breaking my ankle and had ordered a size smaller than usual in the jeans. Trust me pants at your ankles is not the attention you want! LOL

. I’m sorry but this is so funny, I’m still giggling. What I’m fascinated about is the Amish market… Is this a food place or home goods place, or both?
Are you in PA?
I never have ordered any pants on line. Never wanted to deal with the hassle of seeing if they fit, or if I liked them, then sending back if I didn’t.
however, you are making me rethink this strategy, if nothing more, I might be thrilled to actually have pants that fall off, might psych myself into believing for a short while, I’m not as hefty as I really am (haha)

Sorry that this happened to you AFFAIRSOFASTRID. I ordered a couple pairs of her pants to try them out and had similar experiences. They stretch and stretch all right, but they also slide and slide down too. A belt is a must and even then you are doing the take a few steps and tug the jeans up step.
This is why I refer to DG pants as “buffet pants” as they stretch out so much you can eat until you are doublestuffed and still be comfortable.

Didn’t know you can return clothing that you wear back to HSN.

Too funny @AFFAIRSOFSTRID! I have had similar type experiences, as many of us have. I want to thank you for sharing because as I was reading your post about Iman jean intro w/ “gift” belt, it struck me maybe when we see these presentations when there is “gifting” involved or “special package / one-time only” offers to ask, why? Such as with certain hair styling tools. (Gise, it took me 2 hrs & 40 mins.) Thanks for sharing hope you find your perfect fit!

sorry, but that’s so funny!! I hear ya loud and clear. That happened to me 3 years ago too when very strange things started happening with her “jeans” line indeed. Yet here we are today listening to the same old stories. Try Giuliana’s skinny jeans. Their good.:womanvery-happy:
