Christmas Shopping Season Question

I’m asking my fellow shoppers if anyone shopped the last weekend in Sept 2016 and if they can help me out with this issue. I thought for sure HSN offered a special early Christmas Season for that weekend to get ready for the real season that began the beginning of October. Maybe it was for select items only…or am I crazy?

I made a purchase for an HP printer that weekend that I thought it was part of this “promotion”. I hate the printer and wanted to return it recently believing I had until the end of January. Under my order history I was able to hit the link to return it just last week. This was the first time I was going to return a printer and I wanted to know if it was ok to return it if I used the software codes that came with it. I didn’t want to return it if that was going to be an issue. I’ve tried to talk to different customer service reps, and I’ve gotten some irrelevant answers, conflicting answers, or they claim that this promo never happened! I feel like customer service is rushing to give me an answer without going back to see if this promo existed. I truly believe this promo existed. Since I inquired about this, the link to return the printer is no longer available (but it was just several days ago)! I guess I should have returned it and not bothered asking for help from customer service! Now it’s too late! I’d be happy to even get store credit and not even cash back! I just don’t know what’s going on with this return issue!

I personally have not had the best help with customer service with this issue or on some other issues so I wanted to ask the community if anyone remembers if this promo existed. I know the normal time frame for returns is 30 days or until the end of January for the Christmas season. All I want to know is did any HSN customers remember this promo, am I crazy, or was it QVC that offered the special? I never would have bought this so close to the holiday season unless the promo did exist! I would have waited a few days so it did fall under the holiday return season! Thanks in advance for your time reviewing this and for any advice/comments!

Hello new friend jsmst35! I tried to reply earlier but it would not authenticate.

It sounds familar to me bc that’s around when I began to shop. Like a “pre-pre season.” They were trying a new system of order/shipment and were urging shoppers to order early. One of the posting managers can probably confirm whether we’ve lost it ir not. I hate when things start to feel like a dream scene.
