I WILL not put my PHONE NUMBER and ADDRESS in an email UNTIL I KNOW they are legit! I called and talked with someone WHO DID NOT sound like any of the folks I have talked with. She? kept using words like ‘um’, etc. like she was confused by the conversation. Told me I HAD NOT WON but this was FOR A CHANCE to win! How do I get my winnings? I have gotten several emails that were from scammers. And the way this person talked …It was OKAY for me to GIVE MY FULL address and PHONE NUMBER!? bUTT IF SAID EMAIL wanted my CC number etc. THAT to what she was told from whomever she put me on hold for told her. was OKAY!

Who do or can I call and talk with about this?

I have dealt frequently with the HSN Arcade Team and that is their correct email address. I have won a number of prizes and that is the address the emails have come from. I’ve also been in contact with them quite a bit lately over various issues re: the Game of the Week and Friday Night Game Night. If you still want to hear from one of the mods, you might get a better response by posting on the Customer Service Forum instead of here in the Arcade Forum.

BTW Something to think about: How would someone unrelated to HSN know you had won and your email address to send you an email about winning?

The same as someone unrelated to chase trying to hack into there or anyone hacking into anything. Better to be safe than sorry.

I don’t remember HSN asking for my credit card number when I won. And the hackers can show what looks like one emails address but another one is actually behind it I get one from my bank that is a scam that looks like the real thing and is not. So, don’t feel bad about being suspicious. Since they knew the prize for the day, you are probably ok. I also don’t understand the ‘Chance to win’. That sounds strange to me, too. It’s sad that we have to be suspicious of everything. I think it’s safe to start enjoying your win, though. Get the tin foil hat and enjoy your prize!!

Like I had said in original post, Sarah, I asked the person on the phone. They were not very clear about anything. Did not sound like a representative of HSN at all. Me ‘winning’ is ONLY a chance?

Congrats Caligirl!! That looks just like the email I got last year when I won cookware. I think it is legit and they just need your address confirmed in order to send you your prize. I only contacted HSN by email at that time. I also won spendable Kash on 24 Nov. for my score on the TS jigsaw puzzle. So to answer your question; yes you do have a chance to win more than once.
