What is up with all the negativity?

I think this IS a happy place (for the most part, which is all one can hope for)! 

OP, here are my happy feelings! I am sharing them with you!  🙂 

All the negativity is due to the fact no one has any pride in their work. The vendors on HSN make their products sound wonderful and you get it home only to find you have been bamboozled- fooled into believing the hype. Jeans that smell like chemical waste or fit a 2 year old tightly. Then to top that all off UPS/fedEx/ USPS delivers your package to the killer down the street or the one across town or to them selves. Then you have to call HSN every fifty two seconds until you find someone who will help and resend the item. You get the item only to find that it was all hype and does not fit or work, or it is damaged in delivery because of poor packaging. 

Yes, some times the HSN item is completly wonderful and you are pleased with the great price. This is why so many of use keep coming back for that wonderful item. However, this is happening less and less (for me) for many of us– Hence the complaints. Moreover, I have noticed that a few vendors are cutting back on quality and sugar coating the fact that their products are not as good as when first introduced. The tell a fantacy tail of dummy down the product due to “global warming”.. that is the reasoning behind make a product of cheaper light weight materials. The real deal is light cheap material puts more money in their pockets when sold at a premuim price. The price is the same for a premuim product but you receive the inferior product. That is the reason for the complaint. Surepost should be called “Unsurepost ” because you can be unsure that you will receive the item you ordered.

the only result you will get from ‘ordering us around’ is the opposite of that which you are trying to attempt.  Ever think of that?  telling people what to do almost always has a negative return.  how about lifting people up instead of nitpicking?

The HSN Community / Family has been my second HOME for some time now.. I have laughed and cried because the people make me feel so welcomed.

I can not always be on line but I do my best to come in say hello and play a game.  Every day I think of my friends here and yes they are ALL important.  I enjoy the questions also.

, thanks for your concern.  As a teacher in public education for almost forty years, I work in an environment that is predominately women, and I know that not everyone will agree all the time.  Besides, I have big shoulders and can handle it!

negative people are everywhere, especially when they are annonymous.  but, hey, we ALL have bad days.  try to find the happy people who want to enjy neing here, who avoid drama (especially the “that’s it! I”M LEAVING” i.e. please, please beg me to stay).  Most people are nice IMO.  Have a great day! 🙂

, I would have to say, ‘IGNORE THEM!’.  That is your best shot on whinny people.  Just like ‘HITSVILLE’ said, “Negative people are everywhere (and yes, when they are anonymous).  Yes, I will agree that some maybe having a ‘BAD DAY’ and in a funky mood.  We have to take in considerations of conversations sometimes.  I have been guilty of ‘BEING NEGATIVE’ about a subject.  Our feelings can only be controlled by our minds, and by our thoughts.  When my children was growing up (the entire time then and now), when they would complain or look for something to complain about, I’d always tell them, “YOU CAN GO TO WAR WITH YOUR OWN THOUGHTS IN YOUR MIND.”  The more you dwell on something the more it will eat you up! I always reserve patients for those who whine non-stop, not those who speak up when there’s an issue.  

I find the members here are very sweet, caring, smart and kind.  Always look forward to participate in the HSN/ARCADE/COMMUNITY.  Good luck to you!
