Spin to win is a joke

Yes, the ‘improved’ Spin to Win is just now a marketing widget to push pretty pictures of stuff at you in the hopes you are interested enough to click it. I’m afraid ‘winning’ a bunch of meaningless tickets for a miniscule chance to ‘win’ something is a fools game. At least the coupons had a usefulness to them and encourage purchases, these tickets are a joke.

I won 500 tickets. Sad thing is I would be willing to BUY the prize I want but I cannot find it for sale.

Spin to Win is going to be over in a few days…I’m thankful for the tickets I have won. I have kept track of what I won and will be saving them for the next Charity drive HSN has. 

I have posted my response in another Spin2Win thread, but think this is a really appropriate thread for it to be posted again.

Within this past month, I’ve won 100 tickets three times, 500 tickets twice…and…a $25.00 gift certificate on Spin2Win. I don’t expect to win when I play, so anything above nothing…is just…fun for me! I was in fact a customer of HSN for over a year before I had even heard of the arcade, no less Spin2Win.

I’m not sure why all the complaints on so many threads about Spin2Win. HSN doesn’t ‘owe’ us presents, gifts, prizes. HSN ‘grants’ us a chance to win things…to enjoy ourselves…to have FUN! HSN also provides an entire Arcade, along with Monday Night Shows, and Friday Night games with which to do so. And let’s not forget the chance to use those tickets and enter to ‘win’ prizes. I’m sure many have purchased tickets to a ‘rally’ before. What were your chances of winning there??? When people enter these games…it should be nothing more than the ‘HOPE’ to win…NEVER the expectation, nor a feeling of entitlement to do so.

In addition…there are PLENTY of times when HSN offers products at reduced prices…AND with FREE shipping and handling!!

For those unhappy that there aren’t enough monetary rewards and other financially beneficial rewards?

There is always Vegas!!!…

There is where you can USE YOUR OWN MONEY to win someone else’s (the house). Try winning anything in Vegas without digging into your own pockets with which to do so.

Here…it costs you nothing to play…OR to win!!! In the meantime just enjoy the games and fun HSN has made available to us.

In addition…tickets can always be donated to the various charitable causes that HSN makes available to us. That alone to me…makes those tickets worth so much more than anything you can ever line your own pockets with.

There is nothing more rewarding than ‘giving back’!!!

It is easier just to go to the coupon section than to try to get anything on S2W! I was able to use a $10.00 off $50.00 or more. Well worth it!

Totally agree. HSN PLEASE bring back % off and Free Shipping coupons.  This could be your biggest 38th B-Day gift to your loyal shoppers.   I think most people will buy more even if they get a small % off or free shipping for one item – they will typically come back to buy more!

The Spin to Win Game not working again.  Im also done trying to play. 

First, i really love HSN, they have great values on my SSC, and other things and they do have monthly coupons, and i love the flex pays. But i agree with everyone on the new Spin to Win I dont see how its winning anything winning tickets, it seems like a waste of time, i have never won anything with those tickets or a gift card. So yes the discounts were more fun to win.

I have to agree, it would probably be easier to win the state lotteries. Never happen. Sad that your company does this sort of thing to the shoppers that actually keep you in business

I shopped much more last year because it was birthday month and the % off coupons, and free shipping coupons I would win. I waited for this month to shop and have been disapointed. Usually there are new designers and specials. I guess I will see what the holiday show bring. I might be shopping less this this year with HSN. It was those type of promotions that attracted me. I can shop locally and save the shipping. Plus get some excercise.

i posted last time they would stop the coupons on the game due to all the complaining.  and they did. my guess is at some point they will not offer the game at all.   

I really enjoyed last years with the free shipping & the % off to win. I won so many of those last year I was constantly shopping. This year it has saved me money. I probably won at least 20- percentage off & free s&h coupons last year but  oh well we can’t have everything, maybe next year it will be back as a surprise 🙂

I completely agree that its a joke this year.  I am done trying to win.  They can remove the game since its pointless.

I wish it was like years ago when you had a great chance to win percent off or gift card.. I have only won tickets twice.. to bad it doesn’t do like before..
