Reminder, DOUBLE TICKETS on the games  start at Midnight Eastern.

I just noticed that CBS is going to have a special on tonight about Mary Tyler Moore.  It will be on from 9-10 Eastern.

Also PBS is re-airing a 2015 documentary about her –“Mary Tyler Moore, a Celebration”.  The time and day will vary in different areas so you will have to google.  

Also, if you have hulu, they are doing a Mary Tyler Moore marathon of all of her show.

YIPEE!!!  I just got 250 on the Wheel!  Hope this good luck spreads to the rest of you!:womanlol:

Good late morning to everyone.:womanhappy:In case you do not read the Beauty section,I did a little review of my White Tea.It is thankfully  not a heavy scent and does not smell like florals to me.I smell a hint of something very familiar but can’t pull it up out of my memory.:womanembarrassed:

The 2 who reviewed it were right.It is a fairly light scent but strong enough to easily smell it.I have had it on for quite a while and it still smells just as good as when I sprayed it on…I know scents are very  different on each of us but I am VERY happy to find 1 that smells good to me and does not take my breath.:womanvery-happy:

Our temps are finally supposed to cool down after today so hopefully it will feel more like Winter .Hopefully no more rain expected for a few days.YAY for that…I hope noone is having bad weather.

No win on the Wheel for me so I hope the rest of you can get it greased up and do better.:womanhappy:

I think I will read and reply a little,then try a few games.

Did you see the NEW GAME on the ARCADE?  It’s called Solitaire–Beauty Report.

So far I am unimpressed.  It plays almost like Klondike Solitaire. A few differences I have noticed:

1. The clock starts at 10 minutes and counts down.

2. You can choose to play with either 1 card or 3 cards turning                   over each time.

3. If you click on the ‘magnifying glass’ in the top border it                       will light up 2 cards that you can play

4. Clicking on the 2 vertical lines in the top border you will get 5 pages           of directions

5. You CANNOT place a King on an Ace on the Table–you can only put           the Ace on a 2 or put it to start the stacks at the top.

6. Once you have the game won, the cards will fly to the Suit stacks             at the top–you don’t have to put them there one at a time.

7. There is a back pointing arrow in the top border that will let you 

        go back to the previous card that was showing in the deck.

You will probably notice more differences.  If so, please let us know.

Things I don’t like about this version of Solitaire:

1.  For me, colors and cards are much harder to distinguish.

2.  Not being able to put the Kings on Aces on the table.

3.  Don’t understand the scoring–I won the game and got 1081 points           and am #4 on Today’s Leader Board but I received 0 tickets.  I         don’t know what you need to get to earn tickets.  I also don’t             know if you get a higher score if you choose to have 3 cards turn         over at a time rather than 1.  I would think you should as it               makes the game harder to win.

The things I like is that you don’t have to put the cards in the Suit stacks one at a time at the end of the game and the ‘back’ arrow.

I just played spin to win and did exactly what the game says…lol

I have sad news to report.  I just heard that Mary Tyler Moore died.  She was 80 years old. I’m sure that she was a part of all of our younger TV viewing days in the **bleep** VanDyke show and the Mary Tyler Moore show.  She also did a lot of work fighting Juvenile Diabetes.  I suddenly feel very old. 

Before it started snowing again here, I saw the strangest sight.  Five or six crows were on the roof and gutter next door.  They were methodically throwing out the leaves that the property owner had not cleaned out before winter set in.  The really strange part, and what really called my attention to what they were doing, was that on the concrete directly below the gutter was perfectly straight 15 foot mounded line of leaves they had removed.

 I couldn’t figure out why they were doing this, but then I saw one of the crow rescue some bread and corn from the gutter.  I had to laugh because the gutters are frequently used by one of the squirrels  that frequents the neighborhood as a food hiding place.  He is quite a character.  When food is put out, instead of eating it right away, he will gather as much as he can and take it just a short distance  to temporarily stash it and then return for more.  He tries to beat out the other squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits and birds to it.  I’ve already seen him put so much in the nearest tree that when when he put the last piece on, it was too much. Suddenly there was this rain of food coming out of the tree because he got so greedy.  I was laughing as the other animals gathered at the base of the tree to eat.  

I still haven’t figured how or why the leaves were all in a continuous straight line.  Crows usually are willing to leave a mess if they get into garbage bags!
