hello everyone, just wanted to let you know I didn’t win on the spin 2 win today!  Maybe it’s because I have all my ducks packed and we are flying south east of here to Texas tomorrow morning.  I will try to stop by during the week if I can.  My daughter is having surgery and needs to stay in bed five days afterwards.  I’ll be helping with my wonderful grandchildren, whom I love ?? to spend time with anyway.  So take care everyone and have a blessed week!  Keep me in your prayers and I’ll do the same for you.  Blessed be xoxo ??

SCAM ALERT:   told me about this yesterday and then later I heard about it on my local news.  The scammers are calling and asking if you can hear them.  The average person would probably reflexively say ‘yes’.  If you do, then the scammers have what they want–so be careful.

This is how it works according to the Better Business Bureau:

An automated call provides an introduction and identifies a business or agency.  After the intro, the recording will ask if you can hear clearly.  If you answer yes, the scammer behind the call may have recorded you.  They could plan to use your ‘yes’ to sign you up for a product or service you never knew about and then will demand payment.  If you refuse, the scammer may produce your recorded “yes” response to confirm your purchase agreement.  This could be proof, especially if they have your banking or credit card info obtained through hacking a business.

The Better Business Bureau gives this advice on how to prevent any kind of these phishing scams:

Hang up on any unsolicited robocall or even a live person one.  If you are on the Federal Do Not Call List and a company calls out of the blue to ask questions, it’s likely a scam.

Avoid responding with “yes”, “sure” or “OK”.

Hang up if you’re aske to press a button to be placed on the Do Not Call Registry.  Doing anything else could help scammers identify an active phone number.  No government agency will ever solicit for the Do Not Call Registry.

Write down the phone number and file a scam report with the BBB Scam Tracker and the Federal Trade Commission’s Do Not Call List.  This doesn’t always help because these scammers often know how to fool phones’ caller ID features.

Unfortunately, the picture fairly well portrays today’s temperature. I find it difficult to relax as the polar bears are on piles of snow. Think I’ll be on the recliner with the heat turned up.
