JPA-22- Just Playin’ Around 22
Welcome to JPA-22 (Just Playin’ Around 22)!
This thread is about the HSN Arcade, although it can get off-topic as we chat with each other about the games(tips, questions, problems and accomplishments), our activities and daily life, special interests, pets, the Reward Prizes, shopping, avatars, how to post pictures, food and the HSN features.
We enjoy meeting new people as well as continuing the friendships we’ve made. So whether you want to make a one-time post or ‘talk’ multiple times daily, join in. Ask your questions, make a comment or just say Hi! We’d love to hear from you!
We also all try to get together on Friday evenings during HSN Game Night (8 PM Eastern) to answer the Trivia questions(assuming they work!) to earn tickets and to laugh and chat. So join in the fun and get some tickets.
We have newbie gamers as well as die-hard players whose names you’ll see on the leaderboards. Even if you have never played a game in the arcade, post your question and someone here will help out. We like to surprise each other and make each other laugh. So bring your sense of humor and join in the fun!

In case you didn’t see the thread, had a question about a technibond bracelet. I think that it’s one of the ones you bought. The thread is “Clasp thingy trouble with technibond bracelet TS”. I gave her your name to perhaps write a PM to as I thought you had it and I wasn’t sure if her thread would be on the 1st page of the Comm. Forums when you signed in.
She also wrote to you on the “sevilla technibond” thread.
Hope everything is ok. We’ve missed hearing from you.

I was able to book this band for your entertainment this evening….

Here are my tips for Level 3 of Bubble Boo. Hopefully others can add to them.
On the first round of Level 3, my goal is to get rid of the 2 Red and the 2 Yellow ones on the Bottom. I also want to KEEP the 3 Red and 3 Blue ones in the 2nd row from the bottom. Of the groups of 4 Yellow and Blue, I try to get rid of the Yellow ones. Of the groups of 6 Red and 6 Green, I try to get rid of the Green ones. Of course, the colors that come up as shooters will determine whether this is possible. The combinations I listed will make it easier to get rid of the 3 remaining rows of colors after the ‘drop down’ more easily. If I can’t do what I described, I start the level over and don’t even play it. If you play it the way I’ve described you will have 20 moves left after the 1st game of the level is finished. If I don’t, I start the Level over. If you have a choice, I get rid of the smaller groups of bubbles first in order to make the subsequent clusters of more bubbles worth more.
For the 2nd round of Level 3, it is harder to describe what to do because of so many variations of colors. I always try to get rid of the curved ‘arm’ that is open on the right side because that is where the new ‘drop down’ bubbles go and I want as many new ones as possible to knock out again. I try to get multiple colors to fall with each shot as you earn more points that way. I work at getting the clumps of colors to the bottom and right of the ‘guy’ as soon as possible. HOWEVER, I try to leave 2 of the same color or at least one on the right side (away from the arm). That is because on this level you do NOT want to get rid of the Bubbles as fast as possible. You will get the big points by having new bubbles drop down. They will connect to the lower left of the game and make that arm each time. You need to keep at least one bubble on the right side of the guy in order for the round to not end early when you knock off that arm each time.
I have noticed that almost every time there is a drop it is the color of the bubbles that I have put on the right side of the guy. So I knock those out and then work on the arm but I am always careful to put another bubble on the right side before I get rid of the arm. If the arm goes before it’s time for a new drop down, I put 1, 2 or 3 Bubbles on the lower left of the man (so the new drop downs will seamlessly form part of the new arm. Of course if I have had 3 bubbles to use none will remaiin but I will have received points for them.
You have to watch carefully when you get down to 5 or so moves so that you will be able to get rid of all the bubbles with the moves left.
Let me know if any of this didn’t make sense. You will get your highest score when you have been able to let the most drop downs occur and when you had the fewest bubbles there when the drop downs occurred.

I’m in good company on bubble boo today!

The Lucky Duck is still working–I got 100 tickets on S2W today!!
REMINDER: Get your tickets in today for this week’s drawing by Midnight Eastern TONIGHT.
There is conflicting info about using the Entry in the Rewards Store for this week’s Game of the Week. The heading says you have until Midnight, but when you click on the Official Rules, it says that you have to enter by 5PM. I would do it before 5PM Eastern to be sure. If you don’t know how to enter to win prizes, just ask or you can probably figure it out by going to the Arcade Page and clicking on Rewards Store (in the Black Border Line toward the top of the page.
Good Luck!! Hope to see some JPA winners when the names are posted tomorrow!
