JPA-22- Just Playin’ Around 22
Welcome to JPA-22 (Just Playin’ Around 22)!
This thread is about the HSN Arcade, although it can get off-topic as we chat with each other about the games(tips, questions, problems and accomplishments), our activities and daily life, special interests, pets, the Reward Prizes, shopping, avatars, how to post pictures, food and the HSN features.
We enjoy meeting new people as well as continuing the friendships we’ve made. So whether you want to make a one-time post or ‘talk’ multiple times daily, join in. Ask your questions, make a comment or just say Hi! We’d love to hear from you!
We also all try to get together on Friday evenings during HSN Game Night (8 PM Eastern) to answer the Trivia questions(assuming they work!) to earn tickets and to laugh and chat. So join in the fun and get some tickets.
We have newbie gamers as well as die-hard players whose names you’ll see on the leaderboards. Even if you have never played a game in the arcade, post your question and someone here will help out. We like to surprise each other and make each other laugh. So bring your sense of humor and join in the fun!

I will attempt to give you some tips for Level 6 of Bubble Boo as you asked a few days ago. This is a level where you need to keep a close watch on how many shots you have left (at the bottom) and how many shots before the next drop down (shows up above the guy’s head).
You do NOT want to get rid of all of the bubbles that show up at the beginning of the Level until after you have made 9 moves or you will not get to see the drop down of new bubbles and that is where you will get most of the points. With my first 9 shots I usually try to get rid of the silver bubble at the upper right as its being there makes playing after the drop down harder. I just play it depending on the colors but I am always trying to take out 2 colors with 1 shot as that will earn you more points. You also want to get rid of the silver bubble at the lower right but that always seems to come off without much effort.
After the first 9 shots of Level 6 you will keep getting ‘drop downs’ as long as you don’t get rid of all of the bubbles. Again you want to get all the drop downs you can, because that it where the big points come in. If you were unable to get rid of the silver bubble at the upper right during the shots before the drop downs, do it as soon as you can. Again, getting rid of multiple colors with a shot will earn more points. You have to play carefully to not end the game early. Keep an eye on how many moves you have left. Starting with the drop downs– I keep, or put if necessary, 2 different color bubbles ‘under the chin’ of the man(in the area between the 2 bottom points on the platform he’s standing on. I try to just deal with 2 different colors on Round 2 when I can.
I try to get rid of all of the bubbles during each drop down except the ones I put ‘under the chin’. The reason I keep 2 colors there is because you don’t want the drop down to be all one color. This can happen even when you have 2 colors attached to the platform, but it is less likely. If you ever get a drop down of all one color, you might as well start Level 6 over again because you will not get maximum points.
Once the drop downs start, I try to get multiple colors out and get rid of all of the drop down bubbles each time. Sometimes I have to knock out and then replace the ones ‘under the chin’ because I have too many moves left before the next drop down.
Be careful when you get down to 7 or so moves. Ideally you will have 2 bubbles of each color under the chin so you don’t have to use too many moves to get rid of them. Sometimes I have only had 2 bubbles of the same color left there on the last play so that I don’t get stuck not having enough moves to get rid of them all, which you must do to have Level 6 count. I often place them close to where the dropdowns will be attaching to the ‘man’. That way I can get rid of the ones under the chin and the side ones with one shot if I’m lucky enough to get the right colors.
That’s all I can recall to tell you right now. I hope others give tips if they have discovered something better. Hope this helps. Let us know if your points on Levels 3 and 6 improve! I’ll work on doing Level 16 tomorrow.
EDIT: If you made a note of these directions earlier, please recopy or reread them because I have changed them after getting ‘s post. My bad!!
