my dear friends, i need your opinion on an unanswered question. i have emailed mgmt but unfortunately no one has ever gotten back to me. so here i am left to flounder. in any case, here’s my issue.  it has been a long time now- about 1 year or more- that hsn has been charging me sales tax on my applicable taxable purchases. PRIOR TO THIS, I HAVE NEVER HAD TO PAY ANY SALES TAXES ON MY HSN PURCHASES. IT USED TO BE THAT I PAID THE HSN PRICE PLUS SHIPPING COST AND THAT WAS IT. again, I have requested an answer to this for a very long time now but no one at hsn has ever gotten back to me. CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHY I HAVE TO NOW PAY APPLICABLE SALES TAXES??? DO YOU LADIES ALWAYS PAY SALES TAX???? HAVE YOU ALWAYS PAID SALES TAX IN THE PAST??? please share. oh, sigh.. xoxo

Hi everyone! I hope you all are doing ok.

I haven’t been here lately. Something bad happened last week. Tuesday morning, the 18th, my 86 year old Dad was robbed in his driveway at 10:15am. He was going to his mailbox to mail out letters.

A man parked a work truck across the end of his driveway. He told him he was with the electric company. He said he had a call about his electricity. When my Dad told him nothing was wrong with his electricity, the man said he needed to see write down his driver’s license number to prove he was there.

My Dad wouldn’t do it, so the man grabbed the wallet from his back pocket. When Dad reached up to grab it back, the man pushed him hard backwards onto the driveway.  🙁

Hi everyone, sorry I haven’t been posting much, just tidbits here and there.  A few weeks ago I went to get out of bed and found out that I couldn’t move my left leg, they’ve tried steroids, but they failed. My doctor wants an MRI right away, trying to scare me into having it done immediately, but I need to postpone it because the liver specialist is Nov 2nd and I have to find out if she also plans an MRI,if so, I will have both at the same time.  So, I won’t be posting much for awhile, but I think of all of you.
