JPA-21 Just Playin’ Around 21
We enjoy meeting new people as well as continuing the friendships we’ve made. So whether you want to make a one-time post or ‘talk’ multiple times daily, join in. Ask your questions, make a comment or just say Hi! We’d love to hear from you!
We also all try to get together on Friday evenings during HSN Game Night (8 PM Eastern) to answer the Trivia questions(assuming they work!) to earn tickets and to laugh and chat. So join in the fun and get some tickets.
We have newbie gamers as well as die-hard players whose names you’ll see on the leaderboards. Even if you have never played a game in the arcade, post your question and someone here will help out. We like to surprise each other and make each other laugh. So bring your sense of humor and join in the fun!

Good morning everyone!:womanhappy: It was so good to hear from Meme and Lemire as they have both been missed very much. We send our heartfelt condolences to BootCrazy and family. I sure hope BassetBabe’s hubby is feeling better. Now, if we could hear from SweetHeart Pines we could all stop worrying. I’m grabbing my coffee cup and heading to Melch’s house as she is doing some baking and I am hoping for some free goodies……
Stay safe and warm:heart:
Sending out healing and comforting prayers to all….

Hello to all my JPA friends, it’s been a while! I have been going through the thread trying to keep up from time to time. Not to sure where to start or where to end but will begin by all those in need of our prayers. Meme (for hubby) and Myra and your daughter, you have been in my prayers. Regardless of the circumstances, when ill health is in your home, it takes all of your energy and time. As Christmas is days away I wanted to let you know, I as sure Jesus is right there with you to give you the strength you need.
I just lost my sister-in-law to ALS 3 weeks ago. (Originally from Michigan but a Florida resident for about 15 years) I never had a sister of my own and through the years she became my sister. She was diagnosed about 2 1/2 years ago with the very active form of ALS. We watched as a vibrant, very religious, energetic person went from health to her complete inability to move any part of her body over a year ago. She never lost her faith. It’s very sad yet such a blessing she no longer is suffering. ALS has got to be the worst disease there is. I’ve helped my parents die of cancer and it was awful, but ALS shutting down your entire body to complete immobility is beyond words.
My health issues have yet to be resolved. Some days are better than others but I surely can’t complain too much when I see how others are suffering.
I left Michigan just in time – I only saw a few flurries before we left to come down to Florida for the winter. So I am now officially (sort of) Florida’s neighbor! There is now a lot of snow back home and the temps have been awful. Not bragging – it was 80 here today! I know – you folks in the north really don’t want to hear that! lol
Last year I brought my Key Lime, lemon, and orange tree down here with me that I have had for many years. (They are about 3 – 4′) I had lemons and limes in Michigan but nothing from my orange tree. When we pulled in the drive I couldn’t believe it, my little trees are full of fruit. The lemons are the size of grapefruits. The oranges are beyond wonderful and there are over 2 dozen on that little tree! I guess Mother Nature is as good to me down here as she is at home! My husband bought me a grow system and I started some tomatoes. It’s not exactly the time to plant but I’m going for it anyhow.
It seems all my friends have disappeared and I have gone back to look and I don’t know why. So I just wanted to send out a very special Merry Christmas greeting to DBR, Tina, SHP, Deek (thank you so much for your many posts of prayers for me – I can’t tell you how much that means to me, God bless you, you’re a very special person) and FBN. (I ‘m sorry, I know I am missing a few) I hope all of you also check out this thread once in a while and see this. You all have a special place in my heart!
I still come back to play HSN games when I’m up to it. I’ve hit 1,000 on the wheel twice – it was like an early Christmas considering the wheel doesn’t seem to like me all that much! lol My game scores are not getting any better and I haven’t reached my goal but it is still fun to play and I blame my scores on the meds. Hey – we all have to grab any excuse we can. To admit it just might be me – well that’s just crazy lol!
I would like to tell you all I hope you all have a very blessed Christmas and a New Year full of good health and happiness.
Merry Christmas from Florida!

Hello everyone! I miss you all. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I appreciate each and every one of them.
We are hanging in there. Hubby’s new chemo treatments are so difficult for him with all kinds of side effects. We are thankful that we can spend this holiday season together, though.
I hope that you ALL have the Merriest Christmas ever the the Happiest New Year!
I hope to post more soon. Take care and God Bless!
