Good afternoon, HSN Community members. We’re currently aware of the issues some of you are experiencing with the new HSN Arcade layout and we are working diligently to get these corrected. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work through this. Thanks so much!

7/16/15 Updates (unless otherwise noted):

Hi Gamers!

We first want to say how much we appreciate your patience this past week! As you can imagine, last week’s Arcade updates didn’t go quite as smoothly as we’d hoped and our teams have been working to fix issues and tweak features based on your feedback.

We wanted to update you on some of the things we’ve corrected and are working on.

Arcade Menu Bar

– The black menu bar at the top is no longer “sticky.” Now, when you’re in theater mode and increase the browser zoom, the black bar will not increase with everything else.
– The “Community” link on the menu bar now goes directly to the Arcade forum.
– We changed the text color of the current and lifetime tickets from pink to white.
– The “Hello, Nickname” link now goes to your profile Favorite Games tab instead of your Rewards History tab.

Game Play

– Some players were being directed to the Rewards Store, Winners or Community page during game play. That won’t happen any longer.
– Fixed the rotation issue that prevented tablet users from starting in portrait mode. This issue only impacted users accessing the HSN.com desktop version on their tablets – not users playing on the HSN Tablet app.

Spin2Win

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding tickets.
– Fixed the issue where the game would show the same matches for multiple spins.
– The Spin2Win rules have been updated to reflect the correct dates and amounts.

– Fixed the issue with some customers’ spins not starting at 10 on a new day.
– We fixed an issue some players were having logging in to play Spin2Win on our apps.

Mahjongg

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading on iOS devices.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding points.

Flip Out

– Fixed the issue that prevented some players from advancing past level 1.

Tri Peaks Solitaire

– Updated the game with new scoring.
– The game is now available on mobile devices, however, it is no longer available on Internet Explorer 8 or 9.

Rewards Store

– Fixed the issue with the incorrect messaging that a sweepstakes has ended when there is still time to enter.
– The alternate entry option has been added back to the sweepstakes rules.

Games Pages

– In Progress: The TS Jigsaw Puzzle image incorrectly shows “fastest to solve the puzzle.” Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected within the next couple of weeks.

– In Progress: Watching HSN live and want to buy? The “Shop This Item” link will open in a new tab so that your game play is not interrupted. Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected in early September.

– Added the game carousel back to the in-game and game over pages. This allows you to view games, in alphabetical order, without going back to the main Games page. Update 8/18/15: We have received suggestions to make this a continuous loop. Although we are unable to make that change at this time, we will explore other options to improve your experience using this feature.

I like playing the games but something happened with my password and I can’t get in to get tickets!!! When I request a new password, it DOES NOT WORK

Thank You Trekky! I’ve cleaned out my cookies, literally, good ole choc chip!! lol I’ll give the rest a try! I haven’t spent much time here because I am too busy playing in the arcade but I have enjoyed reading a lot of these comments, here and other categories. I definately will be back more often!

I read that some of the issue were fixed, however they aren’t because I am still having a few, such as spinning through half of my spins and it will say I’ve used them all and just now I won 100 tickets but it only gave me 50! Honestly I don’t put too much stock into winning because I have seen the same people win 2 even 3 times over , I play because it is my end of the day go to place to rid myself of any stress. Plz take away my stress, not my tickets!!! LOL!

Was just on the Arcade site… Some games load up while other just blank.

Was wondering if it was on my end or hsn… Seems others are too having different issues…

I’m still having problems playing Word Search with the "MATHEMATICS’ category still coming up mid game. I can’t play FLIP OUT without the game stopping in the middle. What a waste of time!! Why offer games if so many people have problems playing them.

I signed in.

I played Alu’s Revenge and only got "good job and 0 points.

I played Sparks and only got "good job" and 0 points.

This happened to me yesterday as well with different games. Some posted points and some did not.

I am able to post (and I must be signed in to post) but cannot get the polints earned.

I read that HSN is giving out $38k is giftcards this month, I know this also includes gift cards given out on some shows, so they’re not all in the arcade. What dollar amount was given out in the arcade and how much in other shows? Just curious.

Can’t play games. Says I must sign in. I did. Says to play in theater mode. What the heck is that and where do I find it ? Why was it necessary to change the arcade games ? I’m not happy.

So frustrated trying to play the Word Search Game. It has a glitch that while playing gets to the "MATHEMATICS" category and gets stuck in it. I can’t get passed this once it gets to this puzzle. I have to get out and go back in. It happens like every other time I play the game! What a waste of time.

I am also having problems getting tickets ~ I played the puzzle twice today and points did not register either time. I put 8 tickets on all of the prizes and just went to post the other 2 for each one and found that some of the prizes are different and I have no tickets on them ~ what happened? There are still a couple that are duplicate ~ are they going to be replaced also?

Several days ago there were double listings on some prizes in the rewards store. I entered my tickets on everything shown. Today I found the listings are in error. Where did my tickets go on the doubles?

I still can’t get the games to submit my points after the game is over. I try to login after the game and it tells me it’s timed out. What can I do for my IPhone to work properly? It won’t work on the spin to win either…
