Good afternoon, HSN Community members. We’re currently aware of the issues some of you are experiencing with the new HSN Arcade layout and we are working diligently to get these corrected. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work through this. Thanks so much!

7/16/15 Updates (unless otherwise noted):

Hi Gamers!

We first want to say how much we appreciate your patience this past week! As you can imagine, last week’s Arcade updates didn’t go quite as smoothly as we’d hoped and our teams have been working to fix issues and tweak features based on your feedback.

We wanted to update you on some of the things we’ve corrected and are working on.

Arcade Menu Bar

– The black menu bar at the top is no longer “sticky.” Now, when you’re in theater mode and increase the browser zoom, the black bar will not increase with everything else.
– The “Community” link on the menu bar now goes directly to the Arcade forum.
– We changed the text color of the current and lifetime tickets from pink to white.
– The “Hello, Nickname” link now goes to your profile Favorite Games tab instead of your Rewards History tab.

Game Play

– Some players were being directed to the Rewards Store, Winners or Community page during game play. That won’t happen any longer.
– Fixed the rotation issue that prevented tablet users from starting in portrait mode. This issue only impacted users accessing the HSN.com desktop version on their tablets – not users playing on the HSN Tablet app.

Spin2Win

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding tickets.
– Fixed the issue where the game would show the same matches for multiple spins.
– The Spin2Win rules have been updated to reflect the correct dates and amounts.

– Fixed the issue with some customers’ spins not starting at 10 on a new day.
– We fixed an issue some players were having logging in to play Spin2Win on our apps.

Mahjongg

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading on iOS devices.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding points.

Flip Out

– Fixed the issue that prevented some players from advancing past level 1.

Tri Peaks Solitaire

– Updated the game with new scoring.
– The game is now available on mobile devices, however, it is no longer available on Internet Explorer 8 or 9.

Rewards Store

– Fixed the issue with the incorrect messaging that a sweepstakes has ended when there is still time to enter.
– The alternate entry option has been added back to the sweepstakes rules.

Games Pages

– In Progress: The TS Jigsaw Puzzle image incorrectly shows “fastest to solve the puzzle.” Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected within the next couple of weeks.

– In Progress: Watching HSN live and want to buy? The “Shop This Item” link will open in a new tab so that your game play is not interrupted. Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected in early September.

– Added the game carousel back to the in-game and game over pages. This allows you to view games, in alphabetical order, without going back to the main Games page. Update 8/18/15: We have received suggestions to make this a continuous loop. Although we are unable to make that change at this time, we will explore other options to improve your experience using this feature.

The new layout was a surprise and while I don’t dislike it, I don’t care for it. Maybe it will take some getting used to. The one thing I definitely do not like are the points in red on the black; that is very hard to see. Also, I don’t seem to be able to sign out from the arcade page; very inconvenient.

I can’t do anything in the Rewards Store. It is saying the time has expired but it is a new sweepstake?

Oh no=no=no= on this new system or whatever is going on. :womantongue: Went to play today and just can’t make out the game..it’s soooo small. Almost went get a pair of my binoculars just to see it. :womanlol: Just like Cindy819 said, "you cannot enlarge the size anymore." :womanfrustrated: Hate to say this, "If it’s not broken…..it doesn’t need fixing." Please HSN/ARCADE go back to the old system board. O.K., I know I’m spoiled and ya’ll made me like this…lol. Okay, tired of hearing me complain! E.T. go home!

Mahjong dimensions is way too big to now play well,and you can’t adjust it.please put it back to where it was.On tri peaks solitaire I don’t get any tickets ?this new layout is terrible!

In the Theater mode..you cannot enlarge the size anymore. It’s as big as it will get. That is going to be a problem for a LOT of people. And since the BLACK BAR does not move…enlarging the game from "normal game" doesn’t do any good. That is a big problem.

HI ERICA, I AM HAVING A TERRIBLE TIME WITH THE NEW ARCADE LAYOUT PLAYING GAMES. THERE IS JUST TOO MUCH ON THE PAGE. THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THE GAMES HAS GOTTEN SMALLER. TICKETS, SCORES AND POINTS SHOULD REALLY BE ALL IN ONE AREA. THE HSN ADS ARE TOO LARGE AND SO IS THAT BIG BLACK LINE, MORE OF A RECTANGLE, GOING ACROSS THE PAGE. I’LL BE PLAYING A GAME AND THE PAGE IS GONE. THE GAME SIZE IS SO SMALL I ACCIDENTALLY HIT ANOTHER ICON I’M NOT AWARE OF AND THERE GOES MY GAME AND MY POINTS. IT HAS HAPPENED SO MANY TIMES THAT I JUST GIVE UP. THE PREVIOUS DESIGN WAS MUCH MORE CONVENIENT TO PLAY GAMES, AND PLAYING GAMES IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ARCADE I WOULD THINK. THANK YOU FOR SAYING YOU ARE WORKING ON IT. V

The screen is too big on Mahjong Dimensions, where is regular Solitare>???? This bigger version is not fun anymore…please fix…There’s an old saying, "if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it"

I find the scores are very hard to read in red. White would be so much easier to see with these old eyes of mine. Everything seems to be so much of a challenge lately.:

Hello Everyone, the links in the new Arcade menu have been corrected and the games should be running more smoothly now. Here are a few tips we hope will help with some of the issues you are having:

If you are using your browser zoomed in above 100%, try zooming out and playing the game in the new theater mode

If you are using Internet Explorer and experiencing issues, please try switching to another browser such as Chrome or Firefox for the best experience

Some issues can be resolved by using a higher screen resolution; we recommend 1024 x 768 screen resolution or higher

If you have multiple toolbars on your browser, try playing in full screen mode (F11)

If you are having a hard time locating your favorite game, don’t forget that you can now sort games alphabetically.

The new Arcade layout is way to small, I cant see it well enough to play the games. I dont see any way to make the game larger in the screen. I do not like this at all

So glad to hear you are working on the Arcade layout. I thought my eyesight was going or that it is really time for bifogels. Almost worried i messed up on my computer.
