Good afternoon, HSN Community members. We’re currently aware of the issues some of you are experiencing with the new HSN Arcade layout and we are working diligently to get these corrected. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work through this. Thanks so much!

7/16/15 Updates (unless otherwise noted):

Hi Gamers!

We first want to say how much we appreciate your patience this past week! As you can imagine, last week’s Arcade updates didn’t go quite as smoothly as we’d hoped and our teams have been working to fix issues and tweak features based on your feedback.

We wanted to update you on some of the things we’ve corrected and are working on.

Arcade Menu Bar

– The black menu bar at the top is no longer “sticky.” Now, when you’re in theater mode and increase the browser zoom, the black bar will not increase with everything else.
– The “Community” link on the menu bar now goes directly to the Arcade forum.
– We changed the text color of the current and lifetime tickets from pink to white.
– The “Hello, Nickname” link now goes to your profile Favorite Games tab instead of your Rewards History tab.

Game Play

– Some players were being directed to the Rewards Store, Winners or Community page during game play. That won’t happen any longer.
– Fixed the rotation issue that prevented tablet users from starting in portrait mode. This issue only impacted users accessing the HSN.com desktop version on their tablets – not users playing on the HSN Tablet app.

Spin2Win

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding tickets.
– Fixed the issue where the game would show the same matches for multiple spins.
– The Spin2Win rules have been updated to reflect the correct dates and amounts.

– Fixed the issue with some customers’ spins not starting at 10 on a new day.
– We fixed an issue some players were having logging in to play Spin2Win on our apps.

Mahjongg

– Fixed the issue with the game not loading on iOS devices.
– Fixed the issue with the game not awarding points.

Flip Out

– Fixed the issue that prevented some players from advancing past level 1.

Tri Peaks Solitaire

– Updated the game with new scoring.
– The game is now available on mobile devices, however, it is no longer available on Internet Explorer 8 or 9.

Rewards Store

– Fixed the issue with the incorrect messaging that a sweepstakes has ended when there is still time to enter.
– The alternate entry option has been added back to the sweepstakes rules.

Games Pages

– In Progress: The TS Jigsaw Puzzle image incorrectly shows “fastest to solve the puzzle.” Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected within the next couple of weeks.

– In Progress: Watching HSN live and want to buy? The “Shop This Item” link will open in a new tab so that your game play is not interrupted. Update 8/18/15: We are hoping to have this corrected in early September.

– Added the game carousel back to the in-game and game over pages. This allows you to view games, in alphabetical order, without going back to the main Games page. Update 8/18/15: We have received suggestions to make this a continuous loop. Although we are unable to make that change at this time, we will explore other options to improve your experience using this feature.

I was able to play games last night without too many problems. I had fewer issues today. Try using the theater mode it really does help.

I must be the lucky one. I have not experienced any problems in the arcade. I’m sorry to hear that others have.

Ok I can play on my pc and laptop today I mostly use the laptop to play so not having problems with the game being too small. I don;t have tablet or smart phone.

I found Spin to Win in the games list upper right. And it has prizes YAY!!

For those that haven’t found the "Account,Order Status, Recently Aired thru Community…it’s hiding…on the arcade page upper left it says "shop all HSN"; click that and the Account-Community line appears and you can click one of those and it will take you to that page.

Oh and I have open multiple browsers (all Chrome) 1. for the arcade, 2. to watch HSN, 3. one for recently aired, 4. 4. one for community. And can use more to browse the web etc.

I cannot get any games to work on my IPad….I was hoping to get points to enter for the cruises coming up….so disappointed….guess I will save money…no shopping without my games

Not sure if this has been said alreay, I can’t play the games and shop at the same time without taking me out of my game as I could before. Now when I click on shop this item, it takes me out completely off the game screen. Bad idea HSN, if it is HSN’s idea …not sure. Or is it the people whom take care of the Arcade? And shooting HSN on the foot by doing this. Not being able the play and shop at the same time!:womansad:

I agree with the others, the layout sucks big time. I enjoy playing a game and being able to see what is shown on tv, or to be able to scroll and see what items I missed. Can’t do that now. I’m sure HSN spent lots of money for the redesign and should get that money back from what ever company they hired.

Hi Erica, I’m not having any problems with the new format, in fact it is easier for me to see and all of the games I’ve tried are loading quickly, and running with no problems. I have an old laptop computer, and use firefox. Maybe it’s the tablets that are having all of the trouble because of size issues. But, I’m happy, it has been a real improvement for me, I had stopped using the Arcade because it was so slow and the games would quit in the middle or they would run in slow motion. Now, it’s great. Go figure.

The games will not enlarge. When I use my zoom level on my computer to enlarge the screen , everything get bigger except the game, the game actually gets smaller the larger I try to make the screen. This makes it very difficult to play some of my favorite games.

Tried everything and Firefox. Can not increase the size of game. Fix it

Terrible format. Agree with everyone. Love it when things get "fixed" just becuz. Cant get half of games to work even on my computer, let alone tablet (forget that). I used to love HSN. and not able to see whats on tv means i cant SHOP as much (HINT, HINT)

I have been patient as have many of your other customers. Still no progress on
Games including my fav, Tri Peaks Solitaire which has now disappeared, at least on iPad. Some of you need to get educated in customer service and the art of communication.

i am having an issue in the reward store….the other poster said she got a message that it was too late…..this only occuring when we try to enter without using any of our post (the free way to enter) please advise

Wow! Sorry to hear of everyone’s issues.

I’m on Safari and everything is working great.
