Here’s a Sudoku hack to try.

This is a repost of the last time we played.  It helped some people:

People, people, people.  There is no way I would ever want to learn to actully play this game, but I have already got my 20 games in with nothing less than 4200 points.  It’s a no-brainer this way.  I’ve put it out before but I don’t think anyone understands.  I couldn’t get but 3 games last week.  I’ll see if I can make this easier if you want to give it a try.

When the game comes up, choose Hard.  Yes, hard.

Click on the gear shaped button and check mark all three hints.

When the screen with the 9 grids show up put a one in any box in any grid that doesn’t already have a one.  It doesn’t matter, it’s going to be the wrong box, but put a one in any box of the first grid. An x will cross out your one.  Use your back space key and it will delete.  NOW  all the possible places that a ONE and a ONE only can go will appear.  Put a one in any of the highlighted spaces in one grid.  If it gets x’d out, backspace and put a one in another space IN THE SAME GRID.  Then move to the next grid and put a one in a highlighted box there.  Same thing, if x’d backspace and then put the one in another highlighted box.  Continue to all nine grids until you have used all your ones.

Now put a two in any open space in any grid that doesn’t have a two already.  Boxes will highlight, etc.  Only use the highlighted boxes, and make sure your curser is in the box before you backspace and delete a number.  As you go along it gets faster because the choices get narrower and the game goes faster.  I am absolutely the worst at most games.  There are only about six I actually play.  This is not one of them.  But you can beat this game.  You won’t learn to play this way, but spare me, I don’t want to.  Once the light bulb goes off in your head, you can do it in three minutes every time, I promise.  Try it while you’re waiting on the noodles to boil.  You can do it.  I promise.
