halloween

? i LOOOOOOVE halloween! finally, cool weather, dark evenings, cute decorations are out, (not the over-the-top violent ones….i hate those :catmad::catsad:) the kids are happy, pumpkin soup…fall is here!!

? oh basset that is so funny!!! it’s like that scene in the movie ” a christmas story.”  my basset once ate a box of expensive chocolates. i came home and found the empty box on the floor and all of the brown papers cups all over the place.  they were a little wet, like he had gotten them in his mouth and spit them out!!!! he had chocolate breath!!!! oh, what a sweet and funny dog. fortunately, he didn’t get sick.

I like halloween.. I use to participate in the halloween fasshion show and parties.

i love fall!!!

I LOVE Halloween, but when I was a little girl, I was MORE THAN SCARED. On the Halloween where I was 6, I dressed up as a princess and waited by the door to pass out candy. JASON came to my door w a fake machete. He was much bigger than me, but I could not tell how old since he was wearing a mask. I was TERRIFIED of Halloween for years and stopped acknowledging the holiday until I got over my fear. Now I love horror movies and have been to many Haunted Houses. I like cute decorations though, not the scary ones!

every year, i love looking at hsn’s inventory of halloween decor. so awesome. however, i must admit that i am afraid of masks. but, one thing is true, i am not afraid of halloween treats!!! candy apples, popcorn balls, candy corn, lollipops of all sizes, white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate and peanut butter cups, chocolate with almonds and hazlenuts, chocolate with caramel, truffles, etc., etc., etc. just love it. happy halloween everyone!!! be well and safe, my friends. xoxo  psandbtw, when i was young, we would get a unicef box from our school and then ask for monetary donations to unicef from each house that we went to. in today’s world, do trick or treaters still do this??? i know in my area, children don’t even go door to door anymore. they have a huge halloween party at school after school. is this the new norm??? does that mean no more pillow cases to fill up full of candy??? oh, sigh.. xoxo
