Hack for Tri-Peaks?
I posted this under the score thread but it quickly got shoved to the bottom, so I’m asking the community:
I’m no expert at this game. I’m beating the score about half the time. I learned a trick to get more points but I’m not sure if it’s really better or not. If I don’t use all my cards, instead of clicking on New Game or Replay, I click on quit (bottom line in the upper right corner) and I get alot of points even if I have a bad game. I got 60 points for a score of 250 (double the regular 30). I’ve managed to rack up alot of points with my bad scores today even when I didn’t beat the ll23, so it wasn’t a waste of time.
What I’m wondering is if it’s better to keep replaying or start a new game? Don’t you lose you points for the game if you do that?
Thanks to all you real gamers for any insights. (Squeaky8, thanks for your reply)

Regardless of whether you win or not, you get points. Take them by clicking: quit; yes, you’re sure, and; submit score. You have to win to get your time bonus (300 for 1 minute; varies from that according to your real time.).
I never replay games because a) it’s boring, and b) I don’t think you get your time bonus ( but I could be confused).

I just read this on a post under Can You Beat My Score thread. When you’ve used up all your cards and you just hit play again you get zero points. But if you hit that bottom bar in the upper right hand corner like you said you get all the points you did get for that game by “quitting” the game instead of starting a new game. And you are right about the points – it’s a good thing. For a game I got 575 points I got 40 tickets instead of the zero which I would have got if I had just gone on to the next game. This way you never have a game you get no points for. What a super trick and thanks for passing that along. I wish more people would post things like this that they know that many of the rest of us don’t.

Well I feel like a dumba$$..I rarely played that game because I didn’t know one of the links had a Quit button and you could still get points..Before they updated the game it use to show at the end so you knew to submit the score rather than get nothing.I assumed they did away with that when it stopped popping up at the end. Thanks for pointing out its still up there’hidden’ to people like me that dont spend much time looking.

Bringing this back up because you can still get double points even if you don’t beat Shannon’s score by using “Quit” instead of “Replay”. See above old post for details.
