Apparently you ONLY get the ‘double tickets’ for the ‘game of the week’?!?

The DOUBLE TICKETS FRIDAY ad is still on the homepage???  If this is no longer true, why then is it still there??  HSN should take it down or clarify it so that we don’t expect to get double tickets on all the games – as the ad says we will………  NOT GOOD HSN.

  You wrote in an earlier post on this thread that the double tickets were over with except for the Game of the Week, however, the big recycling ‘ad’ at the top of the Arcade Pages kept saying Double Tickets Friday.  In fact it is still there as I am writing this   Also the moderators didn’t know anything about it as they said that they were reporting the problem and that it would be fixed shortly. 

So there is some disconnect between what was supposed to happen and what did happen.  In addition to mistakingly leaving the Double Tickets Friday ad, they neglected to fix it so that the Game of the Week at least would give Double Tickets.  

It would be nice to know about these changes a little in advance and not to have incorrect information posted prominently.  While in the scheme of things, this isn’t a big deal, I’m sure the promotions are done to spur interest in your website and to encourage a ‘fun’ atmosphere.  These kinds of glitches–the Arcade Board saying there are double tickets today and now you’re posting that there are no more double tickets except for the Game of the Week (which also wasn’t giving double tickets) and the Friday Night Trivia often having problems, doesn’t spread goodwill or Fun among the HSN family.  

We can all understand that every ‘promotion’ won’t last forever, but I think knowing in advance or having the announcements be accurate would go a long toward not making the changes so aggravating.

You might want to make a separate thread and put in in the ‘Newsworthy’ category, because many people are not seeing your posts that become lower in some of the Double Tickets threads.  If it would be at the top of the Arcade Forums because of its Newsworthy Status, it might cut down on the confusion and repeated posts and threads about the double tickets.

 Briana’s update now says the great changes are coming March 1.  So maybe this is one of the not so great changes first.  Go to Talk Among Yourselves to see the list of changes for March 1 as of today.  She doesn’t date her updates, so check them from time to time to see if anything has changed, so you’ll know what to celebrate.  Until then, pretend nothing is going on, be in complete denial, and just have fun, as if nothing were going on.  Which it isn’t.  For now.  But check the updates just in case they change without notice.  Got the picture?

still no double tickets

Good morning, Arcade Members!  Our Double Tickets on all Arcade Games was a special holiday promotion which has currently ended however we’re still going to be offering Double Tickets each week on the Game of the Week each Friday.  You should start receiving your Double Tickets soon on this week’s Game of the Week! 

The issue was reported by after midnight. Let’s hope the issue is fixed and soon.

YOU CAN GO TO YOUR PROFILE AND SEE WHAT YOU HAVE PLAYED AND JUST GIVE US DOUBLE TICKETS.  I HAVEN’T HAD COFFEE YET SO MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE SOME BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING ELSE.  PSYCHOMOM WITH NO COFFEE IS NOT A GOOD COMBO.
