What’s your biggest packing challenge?

Just carrying things around every day….I would LOVE IT if you would make the everyday tote bag you had as a tsv a few years ago again….awesome tote…may i suggest tweed or saffiano leather type fabric….great gifts and everyone who got one probably needs a new one.  Thank you SB

Hi Samantha . . . I have several of your luggage sets, and have given many more sets as gifts.  The only problem we have all had is with the handles. I see tonight that you have upgraded them.   Is there any way I can get the new handle in the sets I have already purchased ?

I just bought the 5-piece Classic Luggage set because I LOVE the style and smart detailing. I spent a couple of hours looking for luggage online today and honestly, it’s all boring with NO style or to get something stylish, it’s very expensive. I love the smart details Samantha has thought about – from the peace-of-mind pocket with RFID technology, to the hidden pocket in the bottom of the doctor’s bag, or the stacking cubes. I wanted something that looked good – so much of the luggage out there is black and boring with absolutely NO style. I want to look chic when I travel and this luggage is chic! My one concern is the weight of the upright bag. I HOPE that it will not be too heavy for me to lift into the overhead bins by myself. I gave my new London Fog bag (that I just got 2.5 months ago) to my hubby because it was just too heavy for me to lift into the overhead bins when it was packed.

.As the person who is handicap and Mobility is my challenge my biggest travel challenge is being able to manage my luggage By myself. My favorite summer vacation is a Caribbean cruise I love a cruise. My mother bought my first set of Samantha Brown luggage and I love it I love it so much that after she bought me the starter set I went in and bought the 28 inch soft side and then bought the 28 inch hardside now I’m looking and thinking that I need Today’s Special Value I love the features I get what you are saying about how the bag hooks on the handle that has been a struggle for me I love the cubes I’m just trying to convince myself that having one two three four five pieces of luggage is ok plus two more pieces.

A carry-on bag that is TOO heavy for me to lift by myself into the overhead bins. Cheaper luggage seems to weigh less whereas better made luggage is 8+lbs. For a woman, that bag becomes VERY heavy after it’s packed.

I think you are terrific! Congratulations on all your success! I have your wonderful luggage and the packing cubes. My biggest packing challenge is a long winter bathrobe that is plush and fluffy. I live in NH but move around quite a bit and the winters are cold and rooms can be very drafty especially around the floor. A long, warm robe seems like a must. I wear a large size and even with the 21″ bag expanded, the robe seems to take up an enormous amount of room. Do you have any suggestions on how I can pack it and take up less space? Thank you so much! 

I have a back problem, so I sleep in a recliner.  When I went to Zambia several years ago for ministry work, I had to take a zero-gravity chair (a specialized lawn chair) with me to sleep in.  You should have seen me trying to explain to Zambian customs what was in that huge box.   

I hate to check baggage but I love shoes. I change my shoes for every outfit..  How can I pack for a weekend away with my girlfriends and still bring all my shoes!

biggest packing challenge… well, I prefer to avoid having to check my bags so I’m always trying to figure out how to fit everything into what I carry on. Favorite summer vacation destination would have to be anywhere new. There’s just so many places I haven’t been that going to the same place twice just seems like a missed opportunity to see something new.

We are headed for Ft Walton Beach Fl now. We enjoy the beautiful beach. To escape the hot, dog days of the Texas heat, we spend several weeks in the mountains in Ruidoso NM during the summer.

It nice to walk around the Beach area’s closer to home.
