Mine is clear. Have you tried wiping it off?

   That doesn’t look normal to me at all.   Either poor quality control, or perhaps you got someone’s returned, but used item.

Yeah, I’d agree, it’s looks like someone placed a stamp on it and the ‘gluey stuff’ stayed behind… so either QC testing product, demo product or return I think.

If you can’t remove it, I’d ask for another.
