Help with my Bell and Howell mesh crisper trays.l
How do I stop my Bell and Howell mesh crisper trays from sticking when I make hotdogs in dough? I made them the same way the host deminstrated them on air, but mine stuck? I have asked everone on line but got the customer service rep telling me that they were not made to cook dough? It was in the demo and now it is not its purpose? Do I have to spray with anything before I put the food on the trays? I didn’t get any instructions.

I looked at the video, and he said “light, fluffy, airy pastry.” Maybe he used pastry dough sheets. Did you use something else?

I didn’t buy these but I did watch the video and it looks like the hot dogs wrapped in dough that were used were previously half baked and frozen or refrigerated. I think the only way to stop fresh dough from sticking would be to spray the trays first. Since these are not true baking screens I don’t see how dough would not bake around the “holes” and stick.
