After a year, I just threw out my Miracle Mop
I bought the Miracle Mop about a year ago. It is just terrible. When I mop, the plastic ball inside the mop scrapes the floor. I am 57 and I find it very difficult to wring out the mop. The handle just stays stuck or is too loose….you have to tighten and loosen the mop to wring the thing out. It is heavy. I am a school prinicpal and am in pretty good shape. I have never been more disappointed in an item. I am throwing it out. I cannot give it to charity….that would be a mean thing to do. I just bought another mop from the store. I do love the bucket that came with it. I am unhappy that a dreadful mop got promoted so heavily. I did not return it because how does one return a long, heavy mop. HSN can do better…..

Hehe…admittedly, I don’t like it either. I got mine when they showed up at the BB&B store, using the 20% off coupon…glad I didn’t spend a dime more than I did. I too found it very difficult to wring out…what a pain to lock/unlock and try to twist. I have laminate flooring that I don’t want to soak and that shows water spots (with our rockhard water here in Los Angeles)…this mop remains too wet. My absolute favorite is my Spin Mop (which I did get from HSN), as I can spin out the mop head to virtual dryness (lesson learned again…don’t try messing with something that I love in the first place.) A couple neighbors asked about the Joy mop…maybe I’ll pawn it off on them.

I’m in the same spot. It’s horrible. I love the bucket too lol. I can’t wring it out either. Maybe because I’m short? I wanted to return it too but how do you ship that thing? So it sits in my house. Maybe I can dump it when my husband isn’t home.Joy owes us bigtime for this.
BTW – I like a lot of Joys products – I love the hangers and I like the wax warmer. I use her pillows too.
But, that mop was a real stinker. Total waste of money. HSN owes us lol

I’m so glad you posted this. My daughter has the spin mop and loves it. Now, I know for sure never to waste $$$ on the miracle that is no miracle, mop. Thank you for the info. This will be my next purchase. I think if you had called you might have gotten a refund without returning it though. Not all items have to go back when defective. Word to the wise. Regardless of your issues, always call customer service. They can help. Every item, every issue, every customer different. Don’t miss out unnecessarily. Your happiness could be a phone call away. Hope this helps someone in the future. Have a blessed day.

we’ve had the spin mop for over 2 years. I have extra mop heads so I always have a clean one and it’s so awesome.

We too had the spin mop a couple years ago (would still have if not for a young pup and not so young son). Funny thing is my husband wanted nothing to do with mops unless they were the industrial string kind that you couldn’t properly wash the heads. I ordered the spin mop and we ended up arguing over who was going to do the floors! Life’s funny.

Wow, with all these 5 star reviews on the “spin mop” I might just have to give it a try!:womanlol:

It works very well on tile and I would imagine all other hard floors, and other sufaces for that matter. We moved and the home had mainly carpeting or I would have bought another. We’ve recenly moved and there is some tile and linoleum. If we’re here long enough we may get another. Heck I believe our son has even used it to wash the car before!

Agree and probably like you, I’ve been hanging in there because I hate waste. The bucket is super. I am going back to spin mop. That works so much better for me.
