Very disappointed in Andrew L.
WHY in the world would he put SUCRALOSE, which is splenda, a toxic artificial sweetner, in his Secure Meal Replacements??? Oh, but it gets better! He also puts Acesulfame Potassium in there too which is another toxic sweetner! He rants and raves about how his shakes taste the best. Well, there are others I’m sure that don’t taste as good but use all natural ingredients! I have been using this junk for months. I use 2 scoops in my coffee. I’ve had headaches that are real bad and just happened to look up these sweetners. I didn’t use the Secure yesterday. NO HEADACHES! I’m going to try this a few more times but after that it’s going in the garbage. I only use pure Stevia and here I’ve been ingesting this poison for months. Wow. No wonder I haven’t lost weight either!

I found out by accident that my headaches always came about whenever I injested artifical sweetener. So I can relate.

Good for you, ?
I’ve said it twice before, please allow me a third time. … I am not a fan of AL.

? Oh my goodness! I am really glad u figured out that u have been ingesting artificial sweetener and linked it to your headaches. Headaches can be so crippling! I prefer Stevia too. I have never used any Andrew Lessman but was interested in his chocolate. I didn’t see anything of concern on the ingredient list, but correct me if I am wrong!

I can’t use the Secure either. I am an IBS sufferer (maybe TMI lol) and it supsets my stomach as many diet bars and shakes do. That said – as long as we’re expressing disappointent – I am so disturbed by Andrew L’s prices. I always shop during his visits but that said – something has to be done. I’m loking long and hard at what I really need. As I approach retirement I don’t have the disposable income to buy several hundred dollars worth of vitamins every time he visits. Maybe a rewards plan, or a “club”. IDK but the prices are getting out of sight.

Although I am a HUGE fan of Andrew and his line of products, I have to agree with you on this one. I too had initially purchased Secure and had the same problem with headaches. However, now I’m using his whey protein, and it seems to be okay for me as it does not contain any sweeteners at all, but it is more expensive than Secure. I wish Andrew would just stick to pure, non-toxic, natural ingredients in his products. One good shift he seems to be making is steering away from using soy.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD. LOST A LOT OF RESPECT FOR HIM & HIS PRODUCTS AFTER SO MANY CAPSULES CAUSED ME VIOLENT INTESTINAL CRAMPS. UNFORTUNATELY I WAS IN DENIAL & KEPT THEM – SHOULD HAVE SENT BACK. (SPENT BIG BUCKS ON THEM.) I FINALLY REALIZED TOO LATE THAT I SEEMED TO BE A “GUINEA PIG” ON A LOT OF THE ITEMS THAT I PURCHASED, AS THEY NEVER CAME BACK – MANY OF THE ANTI-OXIDANT PRODS. & THE EYE STUFF. RHIANNON1 I’M WITH YOU. THE BODY REACTS TO SPLENDA AS IT DOES “DDT”. ARE YOU OLD ENUF TO REMEMBER THAT STUFF? MY MOM USED TO SPRAY THE YARD WITH IT TO KILL BUGS. TOO BAD IT’S TOO LATE FOR YOU TO GET YOUR $ BACK. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR POSTING. I’VE POSTED BEFORE & DON’T KNOW IF IT DID ANY GOOD…..

I, too, had an intestinal reaction to his Turmeric and Ginger Root capsules. I sent them back and it took almost 2 weeks to get back to “normal.” Too bad, because the Turmeric seemed to help my joints. I also think his products are expensive. I like his Green Tea but it’s too pricey, even when it’s on special.

Artificial sweeteners give me headaches too. I avoid them whenever possible. I have to read the labels every shopping trip. So I can relate to your issues with the sweeteners.
