ProForm X-Bike folding upright bike
Do you have to put this bike on a mat or can it just go on a rug or floor?

Did you purchase this bike already? If you didn’t I would suggest you not buy it. I received mine on 1/12/17 and put it together but trying it out discovered the odometer wasn’t working right, never mind the scratches on it. Tried getting help from Proform and then HSN to know avail. Called back Proform on 1/21/17 and the rep told me it could be a ‘reed switch’ problem and that I had to take the bottom part of the bike apart to adjust it. I asked if they could send me a new odometer and he asked me to try the adjustment first. I did try adjusting it for over thrity minutes and nothing. As I write this I have been waiting over twenty five minutes on the phone for a rep. I would not recomment a Proform from HSN ever.

Thank you so much for answering my question.

I am new to this HSN posting. I have a question about this exercise bike. Does it show kilometers or miles on the monitor display. I contacted HSN support and they do not know. You would think they would know being they sell this bike. I can’t even fimd the manual online and PROFORM can’t find the model number. Any info would be helpful on this exercise bike.

Thank you! I will pass on the mat for now! Excited to get this for 2017!

I use mine on the floor. I don’t think a mat is needed. If you’re SUPER concerned about a bare floor, you may want to put something down.
