Nutra Bullet
Is the Nutra Bullet scheduled to be a Today’s Special anytime soon? I’ve decided this is the year that I’m going to eat healthier.

Congrats on your decision to eat healthier. We have a nutra bullet too. Unfortunately the ingredients to use it can get costly at the store. Hope you get a lot of use out of yours…..Ronnie

Speaking my from my experience in the past, 1. purchase the RX model. you will not regret it. 2. purchase the extended warranty. I start my day with the Nutri Bullet. I love to make a protein drink with the Andrew Lessman Secure Drink Mix. One large container will last a year. I do not drink coffee, so I start my day off with this drink and another for lunch. I have been doing this for the past few years. With the RX model you can make a hot drink during the cold winter months. I have had many of the other models, which are great, but did not last very long using it twice a day. And by purchasing the extended warranty, the only other option is to purchase extended warranty directly by the manufacture, which is not as easy to return if something goes wrong with the Nutri Bullet. I have tried other types of blender makes and models, the quality of the others and the outcome does not match upto the Nurti Bullet RX.

I love mine. I got the 16 piece set. It travels with me when I go out of town.
I buy mostly frozen organic fruits from Sprouts.
The only con is that it creates such a vacuum after use that sometimes I struggle to open it.

It does help you stick to a healthier diet. I bought mine while while on a weight loss diet. Weight is no longer an issue but we use it all the time. I can "hide" alot of healthy stuff in a smoothie for my husband and 7 year old.

Can I share my Nutribullet story? Just as an fyi. I bought one from HSN, over a year ago when it was a TS. It came with lots of extra cups, lids and a recipe book. I liked it, it definitely helped me incorporate a lot mroe fruit and veg into my diet. But I had some issues with it – you can only run the motor for 30 seconds. Otherwise it overheats and could break down. After 30 seconds you do have a smoothie, but it isn’t completely smooth. There are always small lumps of solids at the bottom. If you don’t mind that, you’ll like it.
The other major problem was that if you don’t close the lid super tight, it leaks, and the leaked liquid can be a pain to clean up. That’s what happened to mine. After leaking a few times, the liquid seeped into the motor area and then it got so sticky that I gradually could not get it to turn. Eventually it would not turn at all, and broke completely and I had to throw it away. I had mine working for about 10 months.
