Marine Collagen Peptides–constipation
Is anyone else having issues with this?? It’s a bit frustrating because I was very regular before I started this.. I exercise, drink plenty of water, I use this in my spinich smoothies every morning, eat salads, etc…. I never thought I would need metamucil products….

I wonder if that is what is happening to me, I started taking it about 5 days or so ago and I eat fruit but it’s not helping which is unusual for me. I

how much are you both taking? maybe try 1/2 the amount?
i have a different product i hv been using up before i try it.

OK, thanks for replies…. And yesterday, I did eat more apples too.. LOL I wanted the product to get in my system to start noticing the benefits so I was using two scoops each day…. But I’ll cut back and see if that helps…

Sophielynn- have you found anything that helps? I think I am going to have to send this back, I tried cutting back to 1/2 a scoop still didn’t help. I hate to send it back, I didn’t get to see if it helped me at all.

Hi. I was having this problem too (using 2 scoops), but once I increased my green vegetable intake (cut green beans and brussel sprouts mostly) the difference was there. I also eat fruit, but the green vegetable intake made the real difference for me.

I was wondering about that today. I have used 1 scoop in my tea at breakfast for 4 days and today I noticed that I was not regular. I’m going to continue to use it because I feel that my nails seem a little stronger, but I don’t want to be constipated! :womanindifferent:

Skyley– I don’t know.. I’m not still not as regular like I was before I started this.. I’m increasing my fruits, veggies and water.. I have read reviews for other collagen products and it seemed like they were in the bathroom more which is why ppl liked it as a weight loss product. Not sure the collagen is helping anything but of course all the reserach says good things so I will continue with the product. My hair and nails are the same but maybe with more time- I’ll be able to tell. My skin (face) does look better and I’m hoping to see a difference in spider veins too. : )

anyone know of which AL supplement to take to help gain weight?

Me too. Been taking one scoop a day since the July TSV. I think I am going to take a week off and then go to half a scoop a day. If anyone else does anything different, please let us know what works.
