HSN if you really care about us you won’t poof this post.
I have been an Andrew Lessman fan for years. I had cancer and needed additional calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. For what I pay for 6 bottles of 90 from another site, I get 6 bottles of the vitamin d 1000, calcium 500 twice a day and magnesium 500 a day for 1/2 the price of Andrews vitamins. He is grossly overpriced. His informtion is almost fauless but you can get much better prices if you know what to look for. I have never felt any different taking taking Andrews vitmins that I have been taking over the last two years. Save your money, please. You can get the calcium in the form he speaks about and the magnesium is with the calcium. I buy D and calcium and magnesium. That’s two pills verses all the bills he puts in a packette. Dr. Said if you take C0 Q10, that’s all you need with a multi. The other vitamins you taken just aren’t needed for keeping you healthy if you eat a well rounded diet. Don’t waste your money on all the hype. I’ve talked to 4 different doctors and they all say the same. Sometime less really is more and sometimes medications are needed and vitamins can cause more harm and think of them as a placibo. Just wanted to pass on what I learned. I don’t go by reviews anymore. Too many people want their 15 minutes of fame hoping their reviews will be read on air.

As others have posted, everyone should do what they feel is right for their body. Many people are pro vitamins and some say they are not needed. I respect both sides. Thank you, highhopes2012, for sharing your opinion and reading suggestions. Is it right for everyone? Maybe, maybe not. I feel I can always learn something. I might not agree, but I appreciate the opportunity to learn something new.
Also, I agree with your thoughts about drinking lots of water. My 16 year old son has been a vegetarian since he was 5 years old and only drinks water. I will be honest and not take the credit because I am a junk food junky! Bring on the steaks, sweets, pop and chips. LOL. He drinks at least 8 bottles of water a day. Has never liked pop, milk or juice. The doctor said that he will probably live to be 120.

Vitamins are very subjective to the absorption rate of your body and any other interactions your own system can have. I have a condition where I can only eat mushed up food. So I need the additional supplements for nutrition and energy. Before I started taking Andrew’s vitamins I was on a regimen from a health food store. Then I switched two years ago to Andrews. Within 3 months I had my energy back. I felt and continue to feel so much stronger. I do believe the high volume sold enables me to have freshly produced supplements. The problem is knowing what is enough. since he is in the selling business it is hard to distinguish between sufficient and overdo. When I went on his pro caps site recently and put in all the supplements I take there are small amounts of certain vitamins included in many of the individual ones and when combined were way way over daily recommended. Bearing that in mind my eyesight has stabilized, I had almost no colds this flu season, my nails are strong, my digestion is improved. And most important I have lots of energy to take my daily 4 mile walk in spite of my food limitations.

I hate to say it but most doctors tell you vitamins arent nessary, they way Americans eat we dont get vitamins and inerals from our good anymore. I started taking Andrews iron and can really feel the difference. I stopped and started taking a cheaper brand and could feel the energy leaving me so back to Andrews iron now I feel better. I hate taking medication Most of our food in grown with bug sprays and depleted soils.

I too have an incurarable disease..progressive relapsing multiple sclerosis and the time clock is ticking. I worry tho….I have had lovely people support me in the cost of Andrews Vitamins as there is no cure..and I am not sure HOW I am gonna get this all done…they just had heart attacks themselves! (shoulda been on a few vitamins they helped ME with) All I know – is that with the vitamins – I feel better..maybe not cured..well – by no means cured..but the difference is remarkable..and it is NOT like that with any other supplement forms I have tried. So whether or not he gave very wise talks and informed us very plainly about EVERY item he sells…I would still be inclined to take HIS pills rather than something thats been sitting on a shelf for gosh knows how long – in a form my body wont fully absorb. Im happy – my skin and hair are glowing – even tho I am really sick – and I know I wouldnt look this way if HIS vitamins were not a daily part of my regime. I wish you well as you battle a tough disease yourself and look forward to an update….

My docs tell me I dont need the vitamins – however I look BETTER than ever even tho I am sick as heck and now taking many of Lessmans “supps”. Of course they tell me they dont know WHY I am doing so well…shake their heads…I am NOT going to give up glowing skin and a feel good body

Everybody needs to do, and take whatever vitamins are best for their individual needs. And we all need to make those decisions ourselves. IF Andrew’s vitamins were more expensive than others, though I haven’t found that to be the case, then there would be good reason for it; his vitamins are THEE finest in the world. You must know that by now if you’ve ever watched him on air. And of course some Dr’s are going to tell you that you don’t need this vitamin or that vitamin, or that they are “bad” for your health. And why? They are in bed with all the big pharma companies. But, like I said, we all need to make our own decisions, based on out own knowledge and individual needs. I wish you the best with your health though, and hope you continue to do well in the future.

I am glad that you are getting your needed supplements for such a great price. I just checked where I have purchased the dry form of Vitamin D3, and it is about the same price, but with the todays special pricing, and free shipping, Andrews price was better.
It sounds like you have a good health care provider, that also specializes in the supplemental needs that actually work. Due to my malabsorption issues, I can not take what is offered in the drugstore aisle, or even prescription brands, as they don’t work for me. Not one of us is the same, and have differant issues with regards to what works for us individually. Guess I am fortunate that Andrews products do work for me, compared to other brands that I have tried, and have had blood tests confirming that some products over the counter, or prescribed, do not work as advertised. I always also try to get my supplements when they are the todays special pricing, to save even more money for myself. Our health is the most utmost importance for each of us. And we need to be our own advocates to our health needs. May you be blessed with good health now and in the future.
