HSN if you really care about us you won’t poof this post.
I have been an Andrew Lessman fan for years. I had cancer and needed additional calcium, magnesium and vitamin D. For what I pay for 6 bottles of 90 from another site, I get 6 bottles of the vitamin d 1000, calcium 500 twice a day and magnesium 500 a day for 1/2 the price of Andrews vitamins. He is grossly overpriced. His informtion is almost fauless but you can get much better prices if you know what to look for. I have never felt any different taking taking Andrews vitmins that I have been taking over the last two years. Save your money, please. You can get the calcium in the form he speaks about and the magnesium is with the calcium. I buy D and calcium and magnesium. That’s two pills verses all the bills he puts in a packette. Dr. Said if you take C0 Q10, that’s all you need with a multi. The other vitamins you taken just aren’t needed for keeping you healthy if you eat a well rounded diet. Don’t waste your money on all the hype. I’ve talked to 4 different doctors and they all say the same. Sometime less really is more and sometimes medications are needed and vitamins can cause more harm and think of them as a placibo. Just wanted to pass on what I learned. I don’t go by reviews anymore. Too many people want their 15 minutes of fame hoping their reviews will be read on air.

I would look at GNC products which have a striking resemblance to AL’s products.
-
I don’t agree with AL and Colleen stating that his vitamins *are the *finest* in the world*I don’t see the *USP* certification on any of his labels. Also, the only well-known manufactured ingredients AL uses is mentioned that we are told about is fCQ 10 ftom Kaneka. Aside from that I don’t see any other ingredients bearing the trade-mark of the companies from which AL purchases his ingredients to make his vitamins.
For example, MSM, is made by*OptiMSM* and the trademark is shown on every MSM product that are made from this highly-acclaimed MSM. I don’t see any trademark vitamins on AL’s bottle labels as the source.
Also, why is he touting that *VitD* is "the single most important vitamin.? That is debateable. VitD is essential for our muskuloskeletal system (which is only one of our body structures, there are many more) bones, muscles, tendons, cartilage, etc., but definitely not the *single most important vitamin*. Our bodies are made of up several systems all trying to cohabit with one another. If there is an over-abundance of one vitamin, we encounter side effects and we seem to throw off other parts of this wonderfully, efficient arganism/machine. We also need Vitamin K2 to help our bodies utilize the Vit D.
Another vitamin that is extremely important for our bodies is Vit B12. It provides the intrinsic factor in our stomachs, which cannot be made we are sick with digestive disturbances, or vegans. We will become anemic if we are missing B12. MS patients and people with nervous system illness are all helped by B12. It’s responsible for the myelin sheath that covers our nerves Thus, to say that VitD is the single most important vitamin, is going a bit above board.

Wow..which of AL products have fillers? Would be good to know 🙂

HSN if you really care about us NEVER NEVER NEVER let Andrew leave HSN . His shows are the VERY best on HSN .

HSNbeauty, I wouldn’t say that buying AL’s vitamins are a waste of money. They are expensive, and if you found something else that works for you, good for you. I’ve purchased AL’s supplements that I dind’t like, so I stopped using them and I never ordered them again. For instance, I purchased his product to help with sleep. I couldn’t stand the smell or the taste, so I stopped using them and bought ZQuil instead. I gave AL’s product away. I didn’t look at it as a major loss. If I continually purchased them on auto ship even though I didn’t like them, then I would say that it’s a waste of money.

I like AL vitamins because no fillers and price could be less but I do like that HSN and AL offer free shipping 3x a year and at times coupons.I would like HSN and AL to address how to better take the vitamins, time of day, with food, etc. Many customers use a lot of vitamins, i cannot take all the vitamins all at once in the morning so I would like some examples. for instance, mylist is essential 1, cal w/mag,, coq10, fish oil and k2m2 and vit d 2500. thanks in advance !

Years ago I decided to try another source for vitamins and supplements and stopped ordering Andrew Lessmans. I ordered from Swanson and Puritan. I always took labels to the doctor to see what his thoughts were and always made mental notes in respect to……are these supplements doing what they’re supposed to do. Doctor more than not turned thumbs down on most of them for one reason or another. In the end we decided to go back to Andrew Lessman because the doctor said they were the best for us……easy to swallow for hubby, no fillers and as you already we’ve had excellent results with taking them. AL is up front when it comes to supplement ingredients. I print the label, take it to the doctor and get his input before placing an order for any new supplements we might want to take. We’re totally committed to Andrew Lessman.

I will agree that Andrew Lessman’s products are pricey, but I will also tell you that they are very difference from what’s on the market. I know because I have tried others and had to come back to AL. I am very specific about what I buy because a lot of products are offered. I just want to get away from the hard as rocks and chewy vitamins and supplements with fillers and additives…so I will seek what I need in the purest form that I can find. Right now I have two sources to provide what I need, and one of them is Andrew Lessman.

I get mine from Kroger/King Soopers. They also have BOGO and excellent coupons.

I think everyone has their own opinions about vitamins and I personally haven’t had a Dr. recommend supplements for me except calcium and vitamin D. I don’t think they are trained in nutrition. Most of the supplements I take are Andrew Lessman’s but I do take other brands. I think he works hard at making sure his are easy to swallow and easy on the stomach. I trust his vitamins to have what he says they do and have heard negative things about some brands not containing what the say they do. It would be nice Andrew if your reading this to have a glucosamine chondrotin supplement that was good for longer than 3 months. Maybe a TS that didn’t cost an arm and a leg. Thanks for your consideration.

Try asking your doctor to search the internet or print some items for their review. This would be the best way to get an opinion prior to your purchasing any items. I too have cancer..and this acts differently with every body. It is best to always get a doctors opinion, prior to purchasing any type of vitimans etc.
I had my doctor review the webpage and he provided me alternate vitimans that Andrew offers. I found this was one way of purchasing something that you would benefit from, instead of purchasing something that might not work because of your health issue.
Andrew has great items, and I have found that I do benefit from his items. My husbans is a very picky person and does not like taking pills, but when he had seen how much energy I had after taking Andrews items, he started taking them. He now has more energy, not just by taking what Andrew offers, but you always need to eat and get exercise for any health issues. This all goes hand in hand. I had to take a protein supplement, what the doctor suggested over the counter did not have a very good taste. I asked him to review Andrews protein supplement, and he stated he would prefer me to take Andrews supplement other than what he previously suggested over the counter. And it taste a lot better and you have an option of different type. i.e strawberry.
Just because what you purchase does not have an effect on you, Don’t say neg things about him. Each persons body is different and maybe yours is one that has not efffect. that is why he offered a 30 day return. Where else can you go and purchase an item, try it and then return it if it does not work. This way you are not purchasing somethig that does not work for you.
I am sure that if you purchase a vitiman at a big box store, they will not allow you to return it after you try it for 30 days, but with Andrew, you can always get a refund. He is the real deal. It just may not work for you.

If his big sized bottle is 99 bucks and it lasts for a year…that’s not a bad price at all. And I like that Andrews stuff doesnt have fullers.
