Has anyone reversed osteoporosis without bone shots?

I’m not there yet but osteoporosis runs in my family and I’m scared to death.

I see their deformed fingers and constant body pain.

Pssttt. :womanwink: I also would demand any doc tells me what they WANT to give me. Explain the benefits and the risks. Then I would go home and google the heck out of this. It’s a shot and that means it’s going to take a while to get out of your system if it doesn’t agree with you. Get YOUR records always and every lab test, etc. no matter what place you go. Andrew uses a much higher quality of calcium in his products and they absorb the best. Citracal is not very good as they use the cheapest form of Calcium. I would start slowly on some weight bearing exercises and get those dark leafy greens in. Good for you for not thinking that doctors aren’t  Gods and they should never disresect the patient that’s paying them! Also, Vit. D3 is vital. Andrew has an article on that also. Certainly was not my intention.  There is much info and alot of confusion concerning osteoporosis.  I think it is up to us to be active partners in our health journey with our doctors, health supplements like Andrew Lessmans, eating right and exercise.

LUCKY MY TYROID WENT WACKY  I LOST A  TON OF WEIGHT WAS ON A PILL BUT NEEDED   NOW TO GET TREATMENT   THOSE SHOTS  THYROID DOC WANTED ME TO DO THE DAILY  FOR TWO YEARS I SAID NO  HIS MOM WOULDNT EITHER  EVEN THOUGH IT DOES GROW NEW BONE  SO THATS GREAT  AT THE END OF TWO YEARS THEY  STOP IT AND PUT YOU ON WHAT I AM ON    THYROID RUNS IN MY FAMILY  I HAVE THREE DAUGHTERS   2 OF THEM  HAVE IT  THIRD ONE DOESN T HAVE IT YET  CAUSES  WEIGHT LOSS AND BONE    LOSS GOT TO KEEP IT REGULATED 

Hi Loaf…  are you allowed to say which shot you get twice a year?

I tried the shot that you give yourself daily and also a tablet and had adverse reactions to both …. right now I am not on anything and was considering just doing the Vitamin D and calcium from over the counter….

It’s VERY scary as this is how my leg broke last November 🙁

MEEZER  I AM ON BONE SHOTS TWICE A YEAR AND I FEEL  GREAT  THERE IS A SUPPORT GROUP ON LINE  .  DEPENDS WHAT  DRUG SHE PUTS YOU ON . THEY TELL ME IT WILL INCREASE BONE MASS  THEY TELL ME TO TAKE CALCIUM  TWICE  A DAY BECAUSE THE DRUG  WILL TAKE ALL THE CALCIUM AND PUT IT BACK INTO THE BONE . I HAD  MY FIRST SHOT IN JANUARY AND SECOND IN JUNE ALL IS GOOD I HAVE A FEMALE DOC AND  SHE IS VERY GOOD  THERE IS ONE WHERE YOU GIVE  YOUR SELF A DAILY INJECTION  I  DID NOT    WANT THAT ONE .
