I agree!  I just ordered TS and didn’t find out until the end that the coupon did apply.  I tried to find a description for the restrictions on the coupon and couldn’t find one.

If you favorite an item  you will be alerted when the price goes down, so you don’t have to buy at full price. I also read on another post that if the price falls on an item you have purchased in the last 30 days you can get credit for the difference. I do not know the details so you would have to call customer service to find out exactely how that works.

I have only been shopping HSN for about 6 months and have received several coupons via email. Most coupons have restrictions. Koh’s always havs coupons and they have restrictions. And I think Kohl’s cash does also. If you have a HSN card you need to check out mycardextras which gives cash back (in the form of a gift card I think) on purchases and shipping costs quarterly. HSN has awesome clearance. Shipping prices are reasonable to begin with and they always have discounted and/or free shipping on items. Last week didn’t they just 2 full days of free shipping on everything that aired? On HSN website search free shipping and you will find all the items that are currently shipping for free. You can also search coupons and be taken to the HSN coupons and offers page. Go to QVC and you will see what high shipping costs are. They never have coupons and their clearance is a joke. Oh and yesterday I think it was HSN was giving away a free (reg size, not dinky) stocking with certain small electronic items. During their anniversary they were randomly giving things away for free to people who called in and they just did it again the other day they someone who called in the chocolates that had aired earlier and she was buying clothes. I enjoy watching and shopping HSN and think they are good to their customers.

I am not shopping with HSN anymore without 15 or 20% off coupons. I have been customer for over 25 yrs and they treat us this way.

I think it would be nice if shipping & handling sometimes wasn’t 25% of what you are purchasing.

coupons, various promotions etc. are part of business models.

the costs of this type of marketing is factored into the overall cost of doing business.  they add to the overall product markup to offset this.

HSN owes us nothing!  They provide us with products that are available no where else and the ease of shopping!  We are all loyal customers of the electric and gas companies…they don’t give us coupons and we still use them because they are necessities…as we have found HSN to be!  Complaining never brings abundance to us….Keep your chin up!  🙂

I don’t generally receive coupons in my email neither; however, I did find a coupon (#142241) for "existing customers."  I goggled "HSN promo codes" and found it.   Lol … sometimes we have to search for own "bones" … but I totally understand what you mean!  🙂 The coupon code I mentioned is good until the end of October I believe and is for ten dollars off of fifty dollars or more.  Be warned as it does not seem to work on clearance items (and is outlined in the rules attached to the coupon).  And, as far as Today Specials go, I don’t think that coupons can be used for this type of special value.   I did manage to use the above-named coupon for two of Iman’s beautiful bags (scarf included with each).  I noticed that the bags are marked as $29.95 tonight and need another black bag as well as a camel one, so I thought the price point was right (especially with the additional ten dollars deducted, not to mention the special shipping offer on Iman’s items today)!  I purchased some of the Today’s Special pants because I have some of Iman’s prior "Slip into Slim" stretch denim pants (although they are not the bootcut ones) and I love them!  In fact, I am wearing them right now. 

I agree with the customer loyalty rewards type program and they should come with no restrictions.  What you earn should be spendable on anything, anytime….  My bank statement always has HSN all over it as I am usually paying something off with flexpay ( which I do greatly appreciate).   Maybe that’s the trade off, but I would still like some loyalty recognition too,
