Chair Gym
Anyone have the Chair Gym? If so, how do you like it? I read the reviews, which I really depend on. A lot of the bad reviews aren’t about the gym not working but more about how they couldn’t put the cords together, stuff like that.
I have the Pilates Power Gym but want to add something else to vary my workout a little. Even though they are similiar as far as both having resistance cords, I really like the idea of performing an ab workout sitting on a chair rather than laying down flat on my back (Pilates). The Pilates Gym is very close to the ground making it difficult to get up, at least for me.
Thank you for any info you can provide.

I have it and no problems. I have mobility issues (fall risk) and chronic pain, so even yoga hurts awful because I can’t be on my knees and I can’t balance well anymore… again, fall risk. I really use it for stretching. I assembled it myself, it’s light and easy to figure out. M neurologist likes it for me because I’m not likely to injure myself!

Hello aquafina:smileyhappy: I do have this item, and I like it! :womanhappy: I will say, I tried to put it together myself :womanfrustrated:– couldn’t :womanembarrassed: — so had Hubby do it. It took ‘breaking in’ so to speak, before I was ‘comfortable’ using (felt little ‘unsteady’) at first. After about 2 weeks of DEDICATION (lol) I was more ‘comfortable using’. For me, it’s good for the ‘sit’ aspect. Have R/A so not much ‘strength’, so ‘for me’ it’s good for ‘stretching’. Twist seat also takes getting ‘used to’…but ‘can’ work up the ‘heart rate’ and work up a little sweat when combined w/other ‘arm’ workout(s)! Really can ‘feel’ it! lol All in all, after ‘breaking in’ and using w/dvd ‘how to do the different exercises’ ….I’m satisfied with it! Does store ‘easily’, doesn’t take up much room at all! So, once ‘set up’ and have the ‘feel’ for the chair itself….w/practice using w/the exercise dvd, it’s an ‘easier on the body’ WORKOUT! I hope this helps you some….if you have any other questions….I’ll be happy to answer them for you, if I can…=) Let us know if you do get it, and/or how you like it! :womanvery-happy:
