Andrew Lessman
I have been a huge fan of Andrews for many years. I have also spent a lot of money on his vitamins. However, after watching a recent show on HSN, I was completely turned off by his arrogance when talking about Dr, Oz. He was so unbelieveably rude and disrespectful. Dr. Oz is a Dr. Andrew…you are NOT! I think you need to get your facts straights before slamming somone on the air. Your facts were incorrect in so many ways why Dr. Oz was testifying. I will NEVER by another product from you again. A little humbleness wouldn’t hurt you. Reading all of your fan mail on the air goes on too long. Tone it down.

I tend to separate the people who endorse products from the products they sell. I’m not trying to be rude but maybe try doing this? Especially if you’re seeing results while taking Andrew’s products. I don’t really like Dianne Gilman sometimes but her jeans fit me really well. Same thing goes for Beyonce and her Dereon jeans. I think it’s important to find what works for you but sometimes you have to take the emotions out of it or you miss out on great things you may have otherwise ignored. Dr. Oz, when I started watching him about 5 or 6 years ago because my mom got me into him was mostly not endorsing everything on his show. Now, he is. All his shows have somehow become inconsistent as of late.
I understand that Andrew isn’t a doctor and he’s even said he isn’t. But at the same time, in his presentations and on his blogs he reeks a wealth of knowledge and supplies his viewership with information about what he’s selling. I did get a few things while watching Dr. Oz in terms of skincare and while they were inexpensive I ended up throwing them out because I know how long it takes me to see results when I start using new products. I appreciate being able to learn about how his products work. My PCP that I’ve been going to since I was a child has always told me I should take a multi vitamin. Not specifying what kind to take. Andrew isn’t saying take everything he makes but explains that if you have certain needs or issues what you may want to take.
I’m not an expert by any degree but I hope you take my words into consideration.

You’re never go to "buy" another product from him again because he disrespected Dr. Oz?
Oh lord, let me get out of this community…
-
I totally agree that for me Andrew’s arrogance has always been a problem. But he could care less, obviously, as this has been stated on various blogs before. I still use his products because some are very good.
-
I’m actually glad this was brought up (kind of again).
I just started getting his products this Spring and feel that they are of good quality BUT all this Oz bashing on HSN AND his Words on Wellness blog, got very old very fast. I said last weekend, it’s started to sound whiney.
Give it a rest AL and just stand on the quality, honesty and science of your products.

It would be great if Andrew Lessman removes Dr. Oz from the HSN conversations and his various blogs. HSN has the power to stop the Dr. Oz bashing while on HSN TV…I am not sure why it is important for him to bring Dr. Oz into the conversations. I hope that Andrew Lessman is not experiencing Dr. Oz Envy. Dr. Oz received Ms. O’s anointing, and has come a long ways since then. Is Andrew Lessman unhappy because Ms. O has not recognized him? Many seek her acceptance.
It is not normal for men to bad mouth other men in such a public way…I find this strange.
Andrew Lessman, please stand on your own…bringing Dr. Oz into the conversations in the way that you do is not a good thing. It only turns people off. Remember, there are no perfect people.

Strange how differently we all see people. Andrew has always come across to me as down to earth, not "arrogant". And as far as him "slamming" Dr Oz, I see it as he’s just trying to look out for us so we don’t get taken in by bogus products, etc.
Andrew reads "fan mail" on air?? I missed this some how.

I think both genetlemen have something to offer. However, when it comes to your health: ask questions, be skeptical, and think for yourself.
-
Arrogance ? Seriously ? Dr. Oz made a fool of himself during a Congressional hearing. Did you see that ? Probably not. Don’t read the news report or transcript, watch it for yourself. Please don’t buy Andrews products. Buy the low quality, ineffective Natures Made brand at Wal-Mart and see how that works for ya.
I have been using Andrews products for some time now. For me personally, the products benefit me. He is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE, and doesn’t try to sell his product. He educates those who wish to be educated about the science and studies behind the product which gives us the information to make quality decisions about what we choose to take.

Maybe Andrew Lessman will let his wife talk about the tea next time…when I saw her standing there today, I was looking forward to hearing what see had to say. For some reason, she did not get to share her thoughts without being interrupted. :smileywink:

He just did the Ultimate Omega 3 product (which I take 2 per day)…uhhhh…ok….and then mentioned his *new* Krill product…and then ran down krill…and Dr. Oz….and left me TOTALLY confused as to what the heck he was talking about!?!?!
Anyone else get that feeling?

I am a huge fan of Andrew’s. I have many of his vitamins and they all are beneficial. If I had my way, I would order even more but I already take 5 different ones. I an afraid to take to many. His reviews are excellent, his background is not only law but Chemistry as well. He has been doing this for over 20 years, I am sure he knows his stuff. Plus, I enjoy watching as he is easy on the eyes!
As far as Dr. Oz, I do think he has good shows and very interesting, but I don’t find him credible all the time. To tout a different diet product every week is a little to much. Every diet product I have tried that he has reccommended did nothing for me. I only lose by eating low carb.
I do agree as I don’t think Andrew should be bashing as he doesn’t need to.

Welcome to the community .
The US Senste has even questioned Dr Oz’s claims
For years, the TV doctor has come under criticism from the medical and legal community for promoting what many in the health profession say are sham get-thin-quick diet pills and other products.A few years ago, Congress stepped in. A Senate panel on health and science invited him to testify on the danger of over-the-counter diet pills and other products. He agreed. He then spent an uncomfortable, sometimes tension-filled morning getting berated by U.S. senators for the things he says and the products he exuberantly promotes on his shows.Dr Oz has long been outed for his misleading and blatantly stating things as facts just to sell himself and whatever he is promoting ,I thought everyone knew he is no longer view as a reliable source . His credtability has long been tarnished.
