Andrew Lessman supplements too large to swallow?
Has anyone else had this problem? It’s been over a year and I returned them, so I’m not sure what I ordered. They were large and white. I can’t swallow large pills. There was nothing on the front of the bottle to indicate size or I would not have opened them. Cutting pills in half doesn’t help and if I have to crush them I find myself skipping them instead of going to the trouble. I’d like to try more of his supplements, but I’m afraid to try. I have this problem with other pills, too, as do alot of my elderly friends. Why can’t manufacturer’s come up with some sort of sizing guideline? Or at least put a true to life picture on the label? There’s no problem taking two instead of one pill. Just make them smaller.

Have been using these vitamins for a very long time and he has never had “pills”. They have always been capsules containing powder. You must be thinking of some other product.

They are the smallest — tiny and the procaps are silky smooth easy to swallow.
Until I found his product line, I was choking and gagging on others. Not to mention the fact that others were immediately rejected by my system (thrown up).
I have been trying various during the last 6 months and I am sold on his line.

Thanks for your input. I’ll try to catch his schedule so I can see the actual presentation this time. The ones I ordered were definitely not capsules. They were large long white oval pills. This has been over a year, so maybe something changed. Anyway, with your feed back, I’ll definitely try to give something else a try.

I have never found Andrew’s vitamins to be difficult to swallow. In fact his are smaller capsules than any others I have tried. I think the largest capsule is Omega 3 and when I take that I am able to take several others at the same time. Like others have mentioned, all of his products are capsules which can be opened up if you have a problem swallowing.

I’m fortunate in that I find Andrew’s vitamins very easy to swallow. and actually take about 4 at a time lol. Yeah – I take a lot of his vitamins 🙂
You can always open tham and mix them with something – since they are all capsules with powder inside. Hope this helps. BTW – are you thinking of Andrew’s vitamins ? Because when you talk about cutting them in half – as I said they’re all capsules with powder and you really can’t cut them in half.

I forgot to mention- if you open caps to put on food some can gag a maggot w/i the taste. The healthy skin hair nails one for eg. EWWWWW. Applesauce masks it the best.

If you call the Procapslab directly they will help you about the sizes. Their employees are very helpful and knowledgable about the products. I don’t even like to swallow small tablets, though Lessman’s are much smaller than others. There are some supplements that you can open up and pour on your applesauce, yogurt…or put into a Nutribullet smoothie etc. The tablets can be opened by separating the two pcs. Twist, open and pour out. Might not be the best for absorption, but better than nothing. I even poke a hole into the liquid supplement capsules with a nut picker and squeeze contents onto cottage cheese! Messy and can stain if you’re not careful.Liquid with caps can be the oil-based ones like Reseveratrol and Astaxanthin. The Lessman eye v’s are dry contents. Anything that comes in a spray, liquid…and I’m there! I look to different brands just to avoid swollowing caps. Just swallowing ONE becomes a soap opera and alot of water. Ugh. Yes it’s harder to find. His vitamins will not have to be crushed as they are all in the caps-at least the ones I’ve had. I also use a mortar and pestle w/i other brands. I have no physical problem w/i swallowing either. It’s just so unnatural to me and if you live alone you don’t want to choke yourself to death! We don’t put a pc of food into our mouths, not chew, throw it back w/i liquid! One company even e’d me a photo to show me the size. So many take even more than a dozen caps a day. They can open their mouths, throw alot in at one time and done. I’d be floating away with water! You might be surprised about the sizes after making the call.

You could try opening the capsules and sprinkle contents onto applesauce and then
swallow the applesauce, just don’t chew it.

No problem at all and I take a lot of his vitamins!!!

No. Never have a problem swallowing his capsules despite some esophogeal motility issues. In fact, his have been the easiest to swallow. I take CoQ10, omega, hair, skin & nails, and the eye ssupplements.

I have never found Andrew Lessman’s pills too large to swallow. On the contrary, because they are not hard, small enough to swallow and does not upset the stomach, I can not take anything else. I guess it depends on what vitamin you take.
