Andrew and Muriel’s Cookbooks
Just say’n…if you haven’t bought any of them…first, super inexpensive and free shipping!
Second…I have four out of five books, Everyday Eating, Favorite Soups, Healthy Vegetables and Healthy Happy Holidays. I just ordered the Oatmeal book today.
They are really a unique format for a cookbook…very, VERY heavy paper stock…the pages fold back completely as the binding is a wire spiral…TONS of pictures. Each recipes takes up several pages as you work through the recipe…the pictures show you the stages of making the recipe…maybe if you are an expert cook it’s not needed but I enjoy this format as a nice change. There are NOT hundreds of recipes, 25 – 40, averaging 30…but they give me ideas. And I’m the type that will add and subtract ingredients as I see fit or if I just don’t have/want to buy.
Lastly…each recipe has a GREAT breakdown of nutrition…that is so refreshing as many, many books don’t give you any breakdowns…I’m always suspicious that they are hiding something that they don’t want you to see. So…just an FYI!
