My son was in 4th grade, and he wrote a paper about me and what i did for the family. Best gift ever! Now that he’s a teenager, maybe i need to hang it back up somewhere.

My son years ago, he was 8, over heard me talking to my friend, about how money was tight that month, and that i didn’t know, how to pay my electirc bill, he had a piggy bank, he would save all his money in, Christmas presents, birthday etc… he was saving to buy himself something he really wanted, I don’t exactly remember if it was an XBox or something like it, I couldn’t afford to buy him one, for sure, to make a long story short, after my friend left, he came out with his piggy bank, and told me ‘Mom don’t worry, take the money from here’ I really didn’t want to, but he insisted so much, then with what was left, he went to buy me a pair of slippers, whch he knew i needed. This gesture is something I will never forget it showed me how mature he was and how much he loved me.

My son built me a computer in a white case. (He tried finding a pink case but could not, at least not a decent one). I was moved. Along with the computer he gave me a nice flat screen monitor and awesome 2.1 speakers (2 speakers, one subwoofer). [Poor cat, jumped up onto the monitor and then did a Wiley Coyote thing in the air as there was no longer space to lounge on top of the monitor! The moron did it twice, too]. Then a few years down the road my son came with a visit and built a new computer into the same case, while I was puttering about.
