The Monday Night Show Asks: What’s the best gift your kids ever gave you?

Let me explain my story:  We use to tell our two boy’s when they were bad, " If you continue acting up like this, Sanda will bring you both a bag of switches instead of toys."  They would get real worried!  We all would tease about this year round.  Then saying back to me, "Mama, Santa’s gonna bring you the switches not us."  Well, Xmas 1984 they gave good-ole Mama (me) my present.  A very beautifully wrapped box.  I was excited with question?????  "Wonder what it is?"  I opened it and behold:  A BOX OF SWITCHES TIED WITH A RED RIBBON!!!  I was so surprised and we laughed till we were vapor-locked (couldn’t breathe).  Later I get a real present from them and it was a very FUN and LAUGHING Xmas I will never forget.

When my daughter Genesis was 14 she recorded a cd of all the songs that made her think of me and smile!

my 5 boys all got together and bought me a T.V. , only a couple of them were working at the time the rest were to young.They said Mom you have always made sure we had nice Christmas’s and its your turn now ,it wasnt the tv but the love in our house that was so special 

My grandchildren !!!! They are worth more than money can buy !!! They are the ultimate gift anyone could get !!!!

Best gift my now almost 19 year old son gave me was a rock he dug up from our yard when he was almost 6 and "painted" ( he used white out ) 3 Angels on it when I was sick so that I would always have Angels watching over me?? Wish I could post the pic here

Being her Mother has been the best gift she has ever given me. I cherish it each and everyday.

One of the best gifts my daughter ever gave me a necklace for my birthday with 3 pearls to represnt herself,her father & myself when she was 10 years old.  I think the greatest gift she gave me is making me a Mom!! Plus when I am having a tough day because I am disabled & am unable to do something we had wanted to do that day she looks at me & says "Don’t worry Mom we can do it when you feel better.  I would rather have you as my Mommy than anyone in the world" or she will say randomly "Mommy I love you,Your my best friend!!".  The fact that she is turning 13 soon she still wants to talk with my about everything,spend time making crafts,taking care of & rescueing animals & so much more <3  My daughter is the greatest gift I could ever have gotten & her eye color is just like mine!!

The best gifts my children gave me …… are my 2 grandchildren.    Both are miracle babies!  Our children and grandchildren are our greatest gifts.

I must say a card designed by my five year old daughter!  She included candy and chocolates with the card.  After opening the bag, I noticed she had helped her self to the chocolates, I asked why and she replied "to help you on your diet you talk about every day mommy"!!! Too funny!  Kids say and remember the darnest things! 🙂

The best gift that I have received from my wondeful children were tickets to see the trio Il Divo for my 50th birthday and it was magical; so far the best yet!!!
