A brand new bike. Everyone I ever owned belonged to someone else before me. I grew up where a bicycle was a luxury and my father did want us to have bikes until we were a little old enough to ride them on public roads. Training wheels were not an item. So my older sister got a brand new bike and when she outgrew it, it came to me. I used to imagine all these great places I would visit when I got my new bike (some were too far to go on a bike), but that did not matter, I would be the first to do it. Anyhow, I’ll say no more but let you know, I never got that bike but have had several cars in the meantime.

When I was 12yrs. old I was adopted by wonderful parents. They brought me home to live on their beautiful farm. The only thing I asked for that I never got was a horse, but they gave me the most important thing LOVE. I am now 62 yrs. old and I wouldn’t change a thing. They are both gone now, and I still live on that beautiful farm. What a wonderful gift!!!!

This is going pretty far back, but I never got an Easy Bake Oven – always wanted one growing up. So, when my daughter said she wanted one I told her how I wanted one at her age too, and we got it together. It really is fun!
