Be sure to let customers know that one of the most important specs of the (420-127) wristband is that it needs to connect with a cell phone having Android 4.4 or above. Ours have only 4.1.2 so will not work with the wristband so I canceled our order. I just think of how many unhappy kids/teens or whomever that receives the wristband for Christmas and then find they don’t work with their cellphones. You sold thousands of them, I do wonder how many will be returned!

No,it’s very hard to get in touch with anyone there for non-computer related issues.

Does the Smart Bands keep track of your heart rate??

If it doesn’t require a pin then I don’t think I would like someone else getting good my personal text messages

Does this smartband pair with any phone in close range or does it require a pin?
-
What is the distance for wifi connection between your phone and the band?

Hello Stephanie,
Does the Acer Smartband connect to MyFitnessPal? Or is it connected to the Workout Trainer Pro+ and the Meal Planning Service only? Thanks.

I guess I’m not going to have any luck with finding out how I can purchase a replacement charger 🙁 I would counsel anyone getting this device to be sure you do not lose the charging cradle. I did and haven’t been able to get any information from Acer via their website and contacting them thru a private message on Facebook regarding how to purchase a new charger. As a result, I have a battery drained Acer smartband watch with no ability to charge it, and thus, no way to use it.

Is she not responding to these anymore??

Hor Mysabine- These trackers on your arm are actually tracking arm movements, not steps. So if you walk without moving your arms – like with a walker, a shopping cart, or holding a child or something in your arms- it does not track your "steps". If you stand still and wave your arms, it thinks you are walking and will count that. So these are not accurate. If you want something to actually measure steps, you need a pedometer or a device that goes on your ankle.

I’m wondering if you can use the smartband for sleep tracking and fitness tracking without a phone. Or do you have to have a phone in order to make the band work? Thank you!

Stephanie,
Does the Acer Smartband communicate with MyFitnessPal? If not do you know if it will in the near future?
