Why don’t you have real size models 5’2 to 5′?? different shapes, ages? PLEASE everyone ask for this. Especially Iman. she gve us some shorts why not models? QVC does this they have a cut out on each model and tell sixe and hights I love it! I send a lot less things back. We could see how they look on different ages.

I agree I would also like a petite model when showing all the different clothing. I would also like to see alot more petite sizing. I cannot relate to all the tall skinny models.

As far as age goes, I saw a very young model for the first time the other day. She looked very much like the college girl next door with slightly messy hair and it was refreshing.

Fortunately, most of the hosts are petite like Bobbi and Amy. So when they model the clothes, they usually mention that they are short and wear a certain size in that brand. Unfortunately, clothes just look way bettter on tall women on camera. The camera distorts everything. It doesn’t look as good on short women, so they aren’t going to risk it.
Kind of like Susan Lucci trying to make us beleive she was a fashion model on All My Children years ago. She looked like a child playing dress up 🙁

I agree! I’d love to see models 5’5″ and shorter, too for us petite girls! Pretty please, HSN?!

I believe models in all heights and sizes should model all HSN clothes and all HSN wearable fashions, and that starts from petite models in all HSN sizes, including all plus sizes, as well as taller models too.
HSN Members and all Consumers really need to see the various fashion variety HSN offers in, and on all HSN various size of models, so we can shop accordingly and also shop for gifts accordingly, and btw no one really likes to have to return HSN items because of lack of appropriate information, or misinformation as well as incorrect sizing on the part of the HSN Manufacturer’s.

I can not agree more! I am also petite at 5’2″-5’3″. I can usually tell when the fit on the models look exactly the way I want it to on me it is a no go. Those models are gorgeous and look great but how much of the shopping audience has their measurements. I would be willing to guess maybe 5-7%. It was HSN that had the almost 6′ model and I think Robin was the host but not 100% sure. Please HSN hire more realistic models you have plus why not petite? And please do like QVC and list the measurements and sizes they are wearing. The host rarely state the sizes anyone is wearing that would be most helpful!

I agree with all of you. The models are mostly taller and thin and then they usually add in one plus size. They just don’t use short heights for some reason. They use the tall, thin models because clothes look great on but it’s not HSN’s primary market.
Very strange in my opinion.:womanindifferent:

I agree, HSN should have Petite Models, even if they don’t carry Petite Clothing, they can show you how a top or dress or a skirt would look on a petite size person. I am 5’2″ and do not consider myself short, never did, never felt short. My height was definitely an asset in my dating days, I could date short guys or tall guys, or any one in between. You’re not too short if your feet reach the ground.:smileyhappy:

I totally agree. This week I think it was HSN had a model that said she was 5’11-1/2″ tall! It could have been QVC, though. At any rate, how many women are that tall? I will not buy pants or outerwear unless they’re petites because they will not fit. I can buy ankle pants and use them as regular as an alternative. When these super-tall fashion models wear tops, I can’t figure out how they’ll look on me. HSN definitely needs more normal height models.
They also need to have the models TURN AROUND when they are showing a garment and take their coat/sweater off if they’re wearing one over a top that they’re modeling. I’ve been watching videos, and so many of them do not show the garment in the back or alone without a coat or sweater over it. That’s not the way to sell product!

I agree! I appreciate that QVC shows a petite model and wish HSN would do the same. Also, appreciate when they show larger models as I think that is more helpful and realistic for many as well. Not like their audience is size 0-4 who are stick thin and 5’9-5’10 but I suppose that is what makes the clothes look good and gets them sold.
