Who do you dress for?

I keep being told that ladies don’t dress for men, they dress for women. I was not polled on this question were you?

So I am asking now because I don’t dress for women other than my mom at times because she loves to see me in a dress as believe it or not that was my first word…. “dress.” LOL

I dress for myself first and foremost. I have not been in a relationship for many years but I would certainly wear a beautiful and flattering outfit for my love. But I have never dressed to compete or impress my girlfriends.

There are no right or wrong answers, just conversation and sharing. If you feel like it ladies and gents, let me know who you dress for.

I dress for me. Sometimes hubby…. sometimes for girlfriends…. sometimes, because I am sick a lot, I get out of my pj’s and into real clothes for my kids and family so they know I’m still here.

I also dress for myself. I also try to dress appropriately for various occasions that crop up. I am not in competition with others in how I dress and don’t always follow the latest fad clothing or make-up. I know what looks good on me and what I feel confident in wearing. And comfort trumps fashion most of the time!:womanhappy:

I’ve heard that too over the years. I dress for myself. When I look good, I feel good, it brings out the best in me and in turn gets passed on to others.

Of course I dressed for my late husband, and the men I’ve been in relationships with since too. I think most women do. That’s one thing that will never stop!:womanwink:
