Wendy Williams the designer, show host on t.v…..
Hi, Ladies! and HSN…
I buy Wendy’s designs on HSN…I have a collection bought by me and as gifts from my children. Weather on HSN or on her t.v. celeb gossip show, I NEVER want to hear her speak of politics or President Bush’s daughter, Jenna as racist b/c she’s a Texan, etc….!! Wendy, all different women buy your fashions…. I’m so very disappointed in you!! Agnes xxxxxxxxx

Hey! I’m from Texas and definitely NOT a racist . . . except for the people who cut Americans’ heads off on television. I’m sick of politics and don’t really care who some celebrity likes or doesn’t like. It looks like this is the norm now. I thought maybe when Obama got out of office that people would settle down. Not so. I almost quit looking at my FB page because of all the discontent. I’m not saying I don’t agree with a lot of the comments, I’m just tired of hearing them. I’d rather come here and talk about my overflowing jewelry boxes and closets 🙂 That’s so much more fun! More on topic, do y’all like how Wendy Williams dresses? She said people always wait for her to come out and see what she is wearing. There is a newsperson on a Houston channel that now has a lot of videos on YouTube. She said when she meets people, they don’t ask about her job or the people she meets. They all want to know how she applies her makeup and fixes her hair and what products she uses. I guess we women are all the same 🙂

Well what did Jenna do or say to deserve this comment? There is a lot of racists showing their heads now since the new guy came into play. So what did Jenna do or say? Wendy rarely talks politics unless something is so obvious she believes she should say something.

This thread is nonsense in my “OPINION”. All TV show hosts from day to night, and the big cable news networks share their “OPINIONS” on a daily basis. They have an audience and platform to use it. I think most of us would given the opportunity.
As far as Wendy Williams is concerned, she spends very little time on politics compared to other TV hosts. I enjoy her “hot topics” portion and it has been so very minimal to say the least. Wendy spends her time on show biz personalities.
She has a nice line of clothing which many seem to enjoy. Giver her a break.:womanhappy:

I agree that Wendy Williams should keep her politics to herself while she’s on HSN if she wants to be successful. I remember a post last year about outrageous comments by her about Donald Trump and I think it was Ivanka. I voted for Trump and very much resent being maligned without cause. It’s always the case that people will say things like this over and over and at some point a person just has had enough of being unfairly attacked because they support Trump. At that point, they no longer buy. Wendy is entitled to her opinion, but she is not entitled to go after those (including Ivanka) with whom she disagrees and insult them or advocate boycotts.
I have a couple of her long tunics with a hood that are absolutely stellar and plan to continue to check out her line. There’s a difference between a person having a different opinion and that person attacking anyone else who disagrees. She makes good clothes, but even that won’t overcome unfair and baseless insults over differences of opinion.

Yes she should bite her tongue and ignore that a “reporter” paid to deliver a presentation at an award show had an epic fail and purposely marginalized movies featuring a group of historically disenfranchised people. Moreover, Bush would have gone unnoticed as usual, but Michael Keaton a few minutes later did the very same thing repeating Hidden Fences. Both great movies being passed over during the night (for fluffy nonsense) clearly indicated a conspiracy to segreated and diminish everyone associated with both movies.
Yes, you should complain to HSN about how brave Wendy Williams was to use her platform to let the national audience know of this disgraceful hollywood behavior. You were correct to come to the HSN community and post about how Wendy Williams shined a light on a historic trend of “all black movies looking alike”- hence the title jumble. “B/C she is a texan” How dare Wendy William mention Texas which across the board has been rated the top racist state in the nation due to its historic racially charged incidents from its inception as a state to the present day. We as a community of shoppers at HSN should ignore recent texas racist scandal “Sandra Bland, the 28-year-old black woman who drove here from Illinois for a job interview and wound up dead in the Waller County jail” and gleefully shop until they drop. Wendy Williams has no business having a personal opinion. Wendy Williams should ignore innocent people gunned down in the street by their own employees -like the murder whole sale club- and just peddle her wears. Thanks for bringing this to our attention AGIKLCO-Agnesxxxxxxx

well she’s entitled to her opinion just like you and everyone else…her talk show involves hot topics and that includes the current affairs of politics…so you watch at your own risk.
