Once I received   a gift card someone used it and then I went to the register to use it an it had no  money on it 

April Fool’s Day is my favorite holiday. I’m one of those people that is always looking after everyone and lending a helping hand so it is the one day of the year that I’m really a “stinker” as my Grandma would say.

I was dating a handsome musician who’s career was going no where fast. My mom was concerned about my future with this man ….

So one year I told my mom that I was in Vegas and we had eloped! And I was very sorry but we could not afford a wedding and did not want to wait any longer! 

There was a deafening silence on the other line before my mom muttered some inaudiable things. Well I never let my pranks go on too long so I relieved her w/ the “April Fool’s” and she promptly hung up on me….:catsurprised: :catembarrassed: :catlol:

I have many I could share but after Mother’s Day this one came to mind.
