I figured out why you are having a problem.   You are using the purple box, use the reply arrow at the top next to the opening post.

When you get a white post box and the text isn’t showing up while you type click on the “insert link” sideways paperclip next to the picture icon in the post box.  Once the insert link box appears your text will appear.   Just close the link box and continue typing.   Hope that makes sense!

, please send me screen shots of the issues you’re experiencing. I’m not able to duplicate what your describing and it will help to identify the problem.
