Yesterday, I had an issue with a $15 off card (6 panels) that did not provide any coupon code. It came with an order. I called Customer Service, spoke with a supervisor, called customer service back and then asked for a supervisor. I think I spoke to at least 5 CS reps and what I will say is that HSN is ridiculous! When I asked for a coordinator (this is the supervisor of a supervisor…which I learned) of a supervisor, I was given a phone number. It is a leave message only phone number. I also described the card (from the CEO, Mindy) and no one knew of such a card. So, I called and left a message never expecting a return phone call.

In the meantime, I left an email stating what had happened and my disappointment regarding the handling of this matter. All this for $15. I did receive an email back and was told that they are doing me the biggest favor (okay..not in these words) by giving me cash in my account and that this was a one time only resolution. I also was told by the last CS rep, that I used this $15 off but I never did.  (Now, I am thinking maybe I got a coupon code off this site and used it) but I never used a coupon code from this card because there was no code. Also, they told me that I would not be able to use a $5 off coupon code that is listed on my account (and it is on the home page as well for everyone). This is a coupon code that supposedly you can use more than once until 1/31/17. I guess, there needs to be somewhere in the specifics that people like me can’t use this coupon code even though it says we can. Again, ridiculous!

Later, in the evening, a very nice lady, called me back fromt the message I left. I didn’t go into detail but I did mention that I do shop with QVC more and I have never, ever encountered such nonsense and that this could have been handled much better. I did mention that I did get the $15 as a cash allowance on my account so that no further action needed to be done. I brought up the fact that no one in CS knew about this card and she replied, that there needs to be some additional training and that she is very well aware of this card which I described to her. And no, I don’t think there will be any additional training…just some BS told to me.

The point is that if you wanted to get a hold of someone when Customer Service isn’t helpful, here is the number.   727-872-2500  I thought I would share this with you.
